Props to this regional chain for making their own vegan patty, but sadly it just did not work for me. A veggie/lentil patty needs to be properly crisped up in my opinion, and as you can see from the pictures it isn’t and the cheese on top wasn’t even melted. Fries were not bad. Shake was yummy! Definitely not as good as some Seattle-area vegan shakes, but totally perfect for a hot day in a rural area. It even has the option to add whipped cream for 50 cents.
Overall, for a quick bite, it works. And for the novelty of getting a fully-vegan burger meal in a rural area, sure! But for the price and the not-particularly-desirable burger, I might stick to something cheaper like Burger King or Taco Bell…
Pros: Fully-vegan burger and shake, Quick service
Cons: Priced to match vegan restaurants, Vegan burger patty is not great
