Went there, so you don't have to - Edit
It was my first (and last) time with 'burgerme'. My mistake was that I ordered online for takeaway. Had I been on site, I would have turned on my heel. This place is abysmal even by the standards of fast food chains.
Read moreThe staff seem to be doing their thing without a care in the world. A sign above the counter even warns of cross-contamination. And so it happened that some of the nuggets had something unidentifiable orange-red on them. The taste was just greasy anyway.
The other "vegan" options are limited to a salad and a burger. Unfortunately, this is lumped together with the vegetarian dishes under the label "meatfree". That should have been warning enough. The burger didn't taste quite as bad as the nuggets. But that's no achievement.
I have absolutely no confidence that the people there even know what vegan means. And you shouldn't either. Next time, I'd rather go to bed hungry.
