Fine

We were there the 7/8/2023. I don't have a memorable moment, but it was convenient. I was able to have a vegan burger and fries. We took some time to finish eating after the hour of closure and they didn't kick us out.
However i had to insist to have restroom access since they closed it 20min before the closure.

Nice little find in Tahoe

Stopped in beer and fries, please to see vegan hot dogs and burgers too. Has the hot dog with kraut and mustard.

Burger Shack

Since wait times were over an hour and a half everywhere else and minimal choices in the area, this place was last resort. Purely outdoor picnic table seating, and basic burgers. Garlic fries just have a spoonful of wet minced garlic on top don’t really recommend upgrading to garlic.

Pros: Lots of seating, Less than 20 min wait time

Cons: Basic for the price, Make sure you make it vegan

Many veganizable options

Their menu has a vegetarian section, and it takes some explaining for them to understand what vegan means (even their vegan burger comes with mayo and cheese, so ask lots of questions). Other than that, it's a good spot after hiking the Rubicon Trail.

Sticks & Twigs

I enjoyed the Sticks & Twigs vegan burger. I did order it without mayonnaise and cheese — to make it vegan for reals. Bun was good. Added grilled onions! It comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado. The burger was great without condiments. I was with someone who isn't vegan. She had same thing and loved it.

Pros: Food tastes good., Regular fries or sweet potato or zucchini., Nice vegan option since nearby Beacon has nothing

Cons: Menu confusing since patty vegan, but not burger.

Great local spot

Cool spot that has vegan patties for burgers! (Not impossible or beyond and they seem house-made). Just make sure to say no Mayo because I think all of the burgers automatically come with Mayo on them. Only con is that they don’t really have a build your own type burger, you just have to modify one of their pre-made options to suit your liking. But they were delicious nonetheless and one of the few spots in the area where I could find a vegan burger
