Okish

Extremely limited vegan options. The buns are not vegan and only ketchup and hot sauce are. The patty was good, but the fries were kinda soggy. Only came here because of omni hosts.

Pros: Yummy black-bean patty

Cons: Poor vegan options, Boring fries

They could try harder

Like the previous review indicates, there's not much for vegans. They seemed to accommodate my preference well enough but based on the information in previous reviews the bun I had on the veganized matamata burger was not in fact vegan. Unless they have recently changed something about their buns, it seems my meal was not actually fully vegan.

What I did have, assuming they did in fact give me a vegan meal, was pretty good. I also ordered the guacamole which I eviscerated, it's so well made. The fries are also very good, and the ketchup is tasty too. It might be made in house, I'm not sure.

There's just not much to be had if you're vegan to justify repeat visits. A vegan patty, guacamole, fries. Basically none of the sauces are vegan. All of the salads can be made vegan but by omitting major ingredients to where I don't think what you're getting is justifying the price.

The service by Megan at the bar was fantastic though. She can make awesome custom cocktails. She did her best communicating my vegan preference to the kitchen.

This place is essentially like a barbecue restaurant with it's focus on meat. And in that way, I guess the most I can say for this place is that I'm happy there was something to eat if I have to eat here. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Pros: What you can eat is pretty good...

Cons: What can you really eat?

Not really much for vegans...

Went here last night. I feel like I need to start by saying our service was AMAZING. Our waitress was so helpful at finding out what was vegan. We thought the buns without butter would be vegan, but she came back to inform us there was dairy in the bread. We’re happy she checked but this means the only vegan option is a black bean burger on a lettuce wrap, which isn’t really what we were craving. The burger was very loose and fell apart easily and the lettuce wrap didn’t help. I ended up having to eat it like a salad. The fries with the blueberry dip were really good though (one of only 2 dips that are vegan). Overall, I don’t think we’ll be back. What we had was yummy, but just not enough options to justify coming back with other vegan burger options around

Pros: Great service

Cons: Few options

Great veggie burgers

This place has great house-made vegan veggie burgers. They also have lots of toppings. All of their sauces are house made, but only the hot sauce and ketchup are vegan. Aioli sauces contain eggs, mustards contain honey, and barbeque sauces contain Worcestershire sauce. However, they have let me replace the sauces on the burgers with things like pico de gallo or avocado relish. The fries are also amazing, but must be ordered separately. The burgers only come with mixed greens dressed in a light (and vegan!) vinaigrette. The portion sizes are huge! They also have some great craft beers and ciders.

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff

Cons: Only 2 vegan sauces for burgers and fries
