Very vegan friendly! But not stellar

This is the second time we’ve been to BASH - the first time was the Ottowa location. The menu is very vegan (and vegetarian) friendly — many options and everything is clearly labeled. Great spot for vegans and nonvegans.

Vegan options include appetizers (spring rolls, edamame), 1 burger (impossible), and sushi rolls. This time I got the Flower Child roll — it wasn’t bad, but not super flavorful and definitely overpriced at $19. Blue Sushi Sake grill has much better vegan options at much better prices.

Our waitress was nice but overall we had to wait 40-50 minutes for our food because “the sushi was backed up”. When it did come out, my husband’s (nonvegan) burger and fries were piping hot which was good. Nothing was really accommodated or comped given the long delay. I *might* go back if I had to.

Pros: Many vegan options, Clearly labeled, Outdoor seating

Cons: Too pricey for the quality, Long wait for food
