Flavorful, but perhaps a bit too much - Edit
This is a nice, quick option when you want something healthy and not super pricey. They have one vegan burrito, but are willing to adapt/modify any item on their menu to be vegan. The seaweed salad is also vegan, though not super exciting.
Read moreService is fast and the way the food is presented is convenient and attractive. Prices are fair (around $9 for vegan burrito) and staff is friendly and helpful.
I personally was not a fan of the burrito because while the first few bites were delicious, the sauces were a bit too sweet/spicy and by the second half go the burrito I was tired on the taste and actually had a hard time finishing the burrito despite how hungry I was. However, I do like how healthy it is--mostly veggies and a seaweed rather than tortilla wrapping. The layer of rice is also pretty thin, which is nice when seeking a filling and satisfying low-carb option. Would recommend overall, I just wish they added a bit less seasonings and let the natural flavors of the veggies shine through.

inventive fast casual in the District - Edit
My daughter introduced me to this “concept” restaurant after we attended a political march in the Mall. They start with the skin of sushi (a flat sheet of seaweed and rice) that is then topped with julienned vegetables, tofu and miso sauce then wrapped up burrito style. Refreshing and vegetable forward. One vegan option, but explicit message in the menu that the other 7 options could be made vegan.
