Authentic Italian Pizza and Pasta - Edit
A gem! We were craving pizza and having a hard time finding offerings in or even around Encinitas with vegan cheese. This place had a dedicated vegan & vegetarian section on their menu with 3 mouth-watering options, as well as pasta and appetizers that were or that our server noted could easily be modified to be vegan. They also have a seemingly dog-friendly patio (there was a lady at a nearby table who was holding her dog the whole time we were there).
Read moreThe kitchen did unfortunately make our pizza the traditional way, leaving on the pesto, but our server was quick to apologize and we had a new one within less than 10 minutes.
It apparently gets crowded, especially on weekends, which can result in long waits (they don't take reservations over the phone, only in person, but will call in case you want to leave the premises) and parking can be scarce, but we lucked out at 7 p.m. on a Sunday night, so worth checking!
Pros: Thin-crust, slightly chewy, delicious pizza!, Kind staff knowledgeable about vegan items, Great atmosphere, reasonably-priced
Cons: No reservations, Parking can be a little tough (on PCH), Miscommunication on order (but quick to rectify)
