Great vegan options and GF too

I love love love the vegan breakfast sandwich, also come with a gluten free bagel if needed. I don't get to Bunnys often because they are closed Sundays and Mondays and those are my days off, so when I do I stock up. They are not fully vegan and I find a lot of places aren't so they can keep afloat as this industry is a hard one especially since Covid. The more vegans eat there the more options there will be. Try the lemon bars and the cheesecakes, so good.

Pros: lots of options, great service, nice atmosphere

Cons: hours open, parking

The best vegan breakfast we've ever had

I got the breakfast burrito, partner got the vegan breakfast sandwich, and we just can't get over how good it was. The sausage was amazing, the scramble was great, flavours were perfect. London fogs were amazing and the cinnamon roll was killer.

Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Price

Great desserts, tasty meals

All of their desserts are vegan, and there is a large variety of them.

I believe all of the meal options have a vegan option and some have a non-vegan option.

Unfortunately, some of the non-vegan options go beyond being vegetarian and include dead animals.

The staff and owner are delightful, as is the atmosphere. Service is quick. Food is always tasty. Their vegan cheese is great. Their meals are always flavourful.

Pros: many vegan desserts, tasty vegan meals, wonderful staff

Cons: dead animal options

Locally sourced and delicious!

A nice little spot with friendly staff and good music. Had an absolutely delicious breakfast sandwich with locally made ingredients on super good bun! Coffee was pretty decent as well. My non-vegan family loved their dishes too.

Amaaaazing vegan food

Their food is my favourite vegan food in Victoria. I love their breakfast sandwich so much and you can tell they use quality ingredients because even the bun is amazing! I recently had their special that is the chicken caesar wrap and it was so so amazing I am going back to get another one ASAP. They have really good vegan substitutes for cheese and mayonnaise. Huge fan. Also a wide range of desserts including vegan cheese cake! Go check out bunny’s for sure! #Veganuary

Pros: Their menu is mostly vegan with some meat options, Amazing staff

Local at its best

Note: There are a lot more highly favorable reviews on the Vegans of Victoria FB site. This cafe is one that is most commented on.

Bunny's is a wonderful small little cafe with many vegan options. Home cooked with care. Great variety of desserts.

Delicious vegan meal and treat options

Bought several takeaway items today, all good, as always. The yam and black bean quesadillas were delicious! Accompanied by salsa and chive creme (?). I couldn’t resist buying three treats, including a square made of raspberry-rose mousse and chocolate - delectable!
Frozen, vegan soups are available to take away, and I chose the potato lentil.
Wish I lived closer to Bunny's.

Pros: lots of vegan items, frozen, vegan, takeaway soups

Amazing food!

We went down for a weekend brunch and we’re not disappointed. The vegan breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the desserts we got to go were too. We saw they also had vegan milkshakes, so we will definitely be back.

Pros: A good selection of vegan food, Reasonably priced, Friendly staff

Love This Spot

Esquimalt would be a sad place without this café. All of the desserts are vegan absolutely all of the time. I'd give it 5 stars but the app won't allow me. The vegan breakfast sandwich is the best one I've ever had and the burger mac & cheese is so delicious. It's a small, family business that deserves our love.

Pros: All desserts are vegan, Lovely people

Cons: They won't let me live there

Some of the best vegan options in town

Unfortunately they won’t let me do a five star rating bc Bunny’s isn’t fully vegan but I’d say this place is one of the best places in town for vegan food and not enough folks know about it. Super delicious vegan breaky, try the caesar salad, breakfast sanny, breakfast burrito was incredible, friendly staff, lots of options with rotating specials list that seem to always be vegan (? Only been twice but there were 4 or 5 all vegan options each time, in addition to the rest of the menu). Makes me wanna live in Esquimalt. Unassuming casual atmosphere with care and attention to the food, just lovely all around. Also puts creative energy into the vegan options and it shows - changes the options available, even made their own salsa for the breaky burrito. It actually feels more like a vegan resto that sells other stuff to ensure they can appeal to a broader range of clientele to make it work as a business. Supports other local cos in the offerings. So impressed - try it out!

Pros: A decent amount of vegan options!, Delicious, affordable food and deserts, Don’t forget the milkshakes

Cons: Slightly outside the core area but a short bike

Should be allowed 5 stars!

Bunny's may not be fully vegan but she offers some of the best vegan food in BC (and beyond). Vegan dishes are clearly labelled and vegan is the default for her incredible desserts. Everything is awesome but best bets: vegan breakfast bowl, caesar salad and any of her amazing soups. Do not miss the cinnabunnies and vegan cheezecakes.

Deserves 5 Stars!

Bunny does not offer the odd vegan dish as a token offering as many mainstream restaurants do. She leads with vegan creations in her entrees, deserts and specials. I had a breakfast burrito that was loaded with interesting flavours and rich vegan cheese and sauce. One of the best burritos of any kind I have tasted.
