me and my friends and family went here for my 17th birthday earlier this year and had an absolutely Fantastic time! The people working brought out freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for all of us, and another one for me as it was my birthday. I had the "El Fuego" because im a sucker for anything spicy 🌶 🥵 the whole time one of my non-vegan friends was grousing "i can't believe this is vegan." didnt get a chance to try one of the milkshakes but i'm definitely going back for more that's for sure and certain!!

My hubby and I drove over from Staunton to enjoy a quick midweek beach getaway and an opportunity to enjoy some truly delicious vegan food. We love being able to go into a restaurant and ordering anything off of the menu and not worrying that it might have flesh, butter or cow's milk in it!
Read moreMy hubby ordered the Boss BBQ Bacon and Cheese with a side of potato salad. He was a happy man! I ordered the White Cheddar Chickun Bacon Ranch with a side of onion rings. I was a happy woman. That sums to two very happy people!
His sandwich was tasty (I only got one bite before he ate it all!) and had just the right amount of toppings (sauce to lettuce ratio) on it. My sandwich was perfect... the coating was crunchy and the toppings perfectly proportioned to accent the chickun... I can't think of a thing to improve it!
For dessert hubby got a carrot cake cupcake and I got a loaded brownie. He ate the cupcake (no bite for me) so I can't tell you how it was, but when I asked he said it was "great". My brownie lasted me two days due to it being a generous portion... and it was a chocolate/cookie/frosting delight.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be stopping in again on our next trip to the Virginia Beach area because I want more of their delicious food!!
Pros: Amazingly good food, Easy parking, Friendly staff
Cons: We had trouble locating it at first., The hours on Google wrongly listed them "closed".

For anyone who thinks vegan food is just healthy food, you would be wrong. It can be any kind of food you’re in the mood for and Bumbling Bee is making some awesome bar food that is just as good as any Bar and Grill food you have ever had. Also, they do have gluten free bread if you need it. I had the best bbq sandwich with potatoe salad and a peanut butter milkshake. If you are ever in VA Beach I highly recommend this place!

A little pricey but good food. They serve Beyond burgers and various vegan fast food / junk food options. Everything is tasty. Especially the SHAKES! SO GOOD! They also have a variety of seltzer with CBD. My only real gripe is the price but worth going.

The Bumbling Bee is an all vegan food truck that serves 100% funk-free vegan food. They do obviously put extra love and caution into what they prepare and how they treat their consumers. I will always be a fan of The Bumbling bee!
