Passable

Unfortunately, they only had 1 starter and 1 main vegan options. Mushroom pate starter which I had and was lovely and a bean burger which was vegetarian but was told it could be made vegan without cheese or mayo... I'm sorry but that's so boring! It was passable. Filled the hole bur I won't be rushing back

Pros: Food was fresh

Cons: Not enough options, Choices were boring

Taking the Bull by the horns.

Great location, nice atmosphere though the background music was an unusual choice (some sort of trance beats film scores). The food was presented well and tasted divine. Portions adequate but it did mean I went for three courses instead of two.
A good recommendation by MrsWoodlands.

Pros: Some vegan options, Great location, Imaginative interpretations of usual 'pub' grub

Cons: Background music a little incongruous , Portions a little smaller than I'd like

Fantastic location

Recently opened. Lovely outside area overlooking the lough. Vegetarian/vegan section on menu. Not clear what is vegan but on checking we had three options- a soup, pie or curry. The pie was delicious. It was chilli and onion. It was an open pie. Not sure what the mince was. Maybe a little bit of soya or maybe walnuts. Whatever it was delicious and came with fresh veg. We were even given complimentary fries. Some wines are marked vegan also. I didn’t explore the pudding options, none were marked vegan but as I said before the menu markings aren’t the clearest. Fantastic wee spot. You can watch their ferry go back and forth!
