The atmosphere was very romantic and he service was amazing. There are many vegan choices here, some better than others in terms of taste.

THEY HAVE A WHOLE VEGAN MENU! I was so excited to just have multiple options to choose from than just being told there is only one. I am always blown away by the food when we go there 😊😊😊

Expensive, but kinda worth it - Edit
We went to Buku for New Year's Eve dinner, and only discovered when we arrived that they had a set menu for the evening. I had a little bit of a panic - everything on the NYE menu was omni! I spoke to my server, however, and she gave me the vegan version of the menu (after checking repeatedly with the chef about the options).

That said, sticker shock was pretty intense when we got our bill. They didn't have prices on anything, and I was completely shocked to see that the vegan version of the meal was the same price as my boyfriend's. His meal had Chilean Sea Bass and Lobster, but otherwise was virtually identical to mine!
We're hoping to make it back there someday when there isn't a prix fixe because yikes! If that happens again, we might have to sell our kidneys.
Pros: vegan friendly, beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and drinks
Cons: crazy expensive when we went

Ask for the vegan menu and be sure your server notes you are ordering vegan since there are non-vegan versions of many of the dishes for example some contain egg if ordered from the vegetarian or regular menus. Delicious food, great drinks, and good service. I really enjoy Buku for special occasion dinners.

I went to Buku and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a vegan menu already made that had everything that already was/could be made vegan with a little tweaking marked in yellow and green. Honestly, there should be more restaurants that do this. The menu was marked with each ingredient that makes the dishes not vegan and all of the things they could do to make it vegan. The food was awesome. The drinks were also awesome. Plus, the outside seating made the entire experience soothing.
