Best lagman I had in Uzbekistan + super friendly manager - Edit
I popped in to see if they could veganise anything, and the lovely manager, Ismail—who speaks perfect English—was very happy to help. The lagman I had was spectacular: saucy, tasty, and with delicious chewy noodles. I was also thrilled the bread was vegan!
Read moreI triple checked everything, and it was vegetarian and didn't have egg or milk. Ismail mentioned he could also make vegan plov, shish kebab, and salads.
The price was super reasonable: for my lagman, bread, and a bottle of water, I only paid 44000 ($5 AUD)—including 15% service charge—which is great value locally.
It's kocated inside the base of Bukhara water tower, and is a cute, modern, and quiet space. I was able to pay with card, and was given a free token to use the very clean nearby toilet.
Pros: Amazing vegan lagman, super friendly and helpful manager , quite a few veganisable options
