Best restaurant in Buenos Aires

During my stay in Buenos Aires, I had the chance to visit Buenos Aires Verde for dinner and for breakfast.

I was amazed by the quality of the experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, elegant and located in Palermo, one of the best neighbourhood in the city.
When you step into the restaurant, you discover a small bakery and shop with organic products, after you find the dining area where you will sit and enjoy their delicacies.

The dinner was breathtaking, so creative and with surprising savours. Everything is vegetarian and vegan and yet meat eaters would surely be seduced! They make incredible cocktails with wine, almond milk and fruits. I couldn't even recommend a dish as everything merits your attention!

Breakfast in Buenos Aires Verde is also a great experience, they have a wide range of amazing desserts, cookies, wholesome sandwiches, granola & fruit bowls and great juices!

I would highly recommend trying this restaurant, I hope to go back there soon too!

Pros: creative food, kind staff, delicious pastries

Very delicious

We ate here last night and were lucky that we arrived early without reservation, by 21:00 the place was filling up quite rapidly (it was a Friday, so that makes sense).
There are various vegan and gluten free options both clearly labelled and there is an English menu as well.
We shared the bruschetta and afterwards had the mushroom risotto and the lasagna. It was super delicious but I would only recommend getting a starter if you're really hungry. I was quite stuffed with no space for any of the desserts.
The place is quite fancy and the prices should not surprise given the use organic products and quality. But I was still surprised by how much we paid in the end.

Pros: Delicous, Big portions

Cons: Quite pricey

Best vegan pizza

This is definitely one of the best places for vegans in Buenos Aires. Everything is organic and while their menu is not vegan, all vegan options (of which there are many) are clearly labeled.
I tried their raw vegan roll and the vegan pizza as well as their vegan berry muffin and carrot cake.
The raw roll was very fresh and tasty. It was very flavorful and well-seasoned and came accompanied by a simple salad of dressed greens. I had this an an appetizer, though it is a main dis by itself as it is definitely filling. Would recommend.
The vegan pizza is a must have. By far the best vegan pizza I've ever had and one of the most delicious things I've eaten in a while. It's large and VERY filling, so it might be worth sharing. It comes on a wheat crust that has more of a cracker than bread consistency. It was topped with cabbage, quinoa, baked zucchini, grilled mushrooms, pickles, vegan spiced mayo, and probably more things that I'm forgetting. However, it was incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this dish enough. It's worth traveling to the restaurant just for the sake of their vegan pizza. Though do be aware that due to the complexity of the dish it takes a bit long to come out, and it comes piping hot, so don't burn your tongue like I did.
Finally, I tried their carrot cake and berry muffin and was not particularly impressed with either. The carrot cake was dry and tasted solely of orange essence. The muffin was too oily and not particularly flavorful. Perhaps the raw desserts are better because their vegan baked goods can certainly improve.
The place sells homemade breads of various kinds. I particular liked the Vienna bread, which are these small bread rolls that are slightly sweet and very nice. However, the bread is simply nice bakery bread, nothing particularly unique.
Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by for a meal, especially if it includes their vegan pizza.

ps: They only accept visa debit cards, however, their machine was able to accept my U.S. visa credit card without an issue. They let you charge the tip directly to the card, which is great when you're running low on pesos.

Pros: Good food, Friendly staff, Organic

Tastiest vegan food in Buenos Aires

Definitely the tastiest vegan food I've found in Buenos Aires. On my first visit it was my first night here, I had the raw lasagna and it blew me away and set a high bar for the rest of my stay. The second visit at the end of the 2 weeks I had the protein salad which again was fresh and full of flavour.
The staff however do let the place down slightly as keeping the cafe clean and orderly seems to take priority over customer service.

Pros: Interesting options on the menu, Full of flavour

Cons: Customer service is not priority

Best Food-Experience in 2 weeks

Don‘t hesitate! You‘ll definetly find here something that makes you happy. The portion size was perfect& it was high-quality-food. We paid 700 ARS for 2 menues, including (probably BA’s best) homemade bread with hummus as an appetizer, 2 main dishes, 2 Ice teas (delecious) & 2 coffees.

Pros: Delicious, fresh food, Menues are available & not expensive, You can buy souvenirs& delicious bread

One of the best of BA and worldwide

In this journey of going to veg places, this one I can tell is one of the best of Buenos Aires (or the best).
I come to this place for many years and this year they made a total renovation and looks very pretty now.
If you visit BA, it’s a must go. Real food, (no bowls only as in veg places in Usa, thanks!)
I will share the last pictures I have, you can find raw and not raw, some Are vegan some veg. Desserts are deli.

Pros: Great food, Nutrition , New renovated look

Cons: It can get crowded , You need time cause food is made in the moment

Delicious and abundant

Went for lunch. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere is calm and colorful. The place has vegan dishes or vegan modifications in vegetarian dishes and the vegetable ok was memorable. They greet you with hummus, bread and ice tea while you wait for your order. They also have desserts which are vegan.

Not so organic as it says...

Some of the providers of this place are not organic as it claims to be.
The food is not that bad, they have some issues with the people working there, sometimes they are not as happy as they should be. But overall, its a good place.
No credit cards only cash.

Perfection in Buenos Aires

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this little gem while we were traveling extensively in Buenos Aires. I had eaten a raw vegan diet for a while but he had never tried it before and we were both blown away. We even went back a year later and the food was even better. They have a small marketplace where you can buy organic products and they also do take out. Very affordable, service was good, and great choices. I highly recommend it!

Pros: Great food and prices

Deserving of 5 cows for the great food

It's rare that I give out a rating of 5 cows on any restaurant, but this one in my humble opinion, deserves it. It is a little bit on the expensive side but it's hard to find a good cheap vegetarian restaurant in Buenos Aires.

I went in January 2017. That day they had 6 choices for the meal of the day. There are three different options for the meal of the day. Option 1 is 175 pesos, approximately US $11. That includes one of the meals of the day plus a drink. The next option is 195 pesos or about US $12 which includes the plate plus a drink plus dessert or tea/coffee. The third option is 220 pesos or about US$ 13.75. This includes the plate plus a smoothie or glass of wine dessert tea/coffee. I decided to just go ahead and get the most expensive option so I could try a little bit of everything. I ended up getting the "Ensalada Raw" which was absolutely delicious, if not on the sweet side. For my drink I got the red fruit smoothie made with almond milk. The desert I chose was a slice of apple cake with vanilla ice cream. And then I got coffee. The meal I got was definitely not suitable for diabetics as the salad was sweet, the smoothie was sweet, and the dessert was sweet.

I usually don't spend this much on lunch or even dinner for that matter but this place I guess was kind of a splurge for me. It's probably worth it and I'm sure you'll like the food. There were several foreigners there as I believe this place is listed in one of the tourist books. Also you can get just the plate of food either to go or delivery for only 145 pesos, that's about US $9. They post their daily menu choices on their Facebook page.

Pros: lots of vegan options, location , delicious food

Cons: Expensive (to me, anyway)

looking at your monetary value comparisons here makes me shiver at the prices now (195 pesos is now less than 5 dollars)

So SOOO good!

If you are in Buenos Aires, go here. I'm beyond excited. I went with my vegan boyfriend and omnivore mum and all of us were enjoying our food to the max. Big portions, which is great as with that food you don't want to stop eating. Get that pizza, by the way.... I normally do not like pizzas, but I was binging on that piece straight out of heaven. I was too full to eat deserts, but my boyfriend is having loud dreams about it every now and then still. Good prices (not dirt cheap, but for a restaurant with this quality really good).

It's not all vegan, it's vegetarian... but there are many vegan options.

Pros: Food is amazing, Friendly staff, Nicely decorated

Because it was so good, I now also visited their restaurant in Belgrano. Again, certainly not disappointed. What a treat! Certainly go for the raw vegan nachos with guacamole, vegan choripan and once again the pizza. Really really delicious!

Great place to eat

They have breakfast and lunch menu with a lot of vegan options.
The staff was ok, but the food is remarkable, with lot of flavour and the portion was gigantic, for sure they know what they are doing. I didn't came back to eat again because my time in buenos aires was short and i needed to discover another restaurants, but if i lived in Buenos Aires, probably i would eat here every week.

Pros: FOOD IS AMAZING, PRICE TOTALLY WORTH, A LOT OF VEGAN OPTIONS

Cons: the place was a little tumultuous

Best Food Yet in Buenos Aires

I ordered a red quinoa and veggie sandwich with a rice pilaf and a green drink at this Palermo vegetarian restaurant. I have not been having much luck finding delicious Vegan food in Buenos Aires, but the food here is very tasty and full of flavor.

I like that they also serve raw dishes and breakfast.

A solid restaurant for any meal.

Pros: flavorful vegan food, great wifi

Lots of clearly marked vegan options. Serving sizes are very big. I'm not usually big on raw stuff but I had an amazing raw pizza here with delicious cashew cheese. Also had a very tasty juice.

Huge tasty salad

A pleasant restaurant with a very friendly staff. I had a HUGE salad that was really tasty, the promised smoked cashew cheese having been really a great surprise, as were the raw crackers (I'm not really into raw but they were just good).

An advice: order your salad with dressing apart - mine came with a bit too much of it and above all tasted like it had soaked for a while!

This is one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in Palermo. The menu includes vegan and raw dishes. Creative, delicious, filling salads.
Friendly service and reasonable prices. Good selection of desserts.
Highly recommended.
If you plan to arrive after 20:00, call and make a reservation.

Pros: Salads, Opening times, Creative menu
