Amazing vegan brunch! - Edit
There aren't many places around the city that cater to vegans for brunch, so I really appreciate all the options they have. They also make it easy since everything is labeled.

Great place to celebrate! - Edit
I went to Buena Vida last night with a group of colleagues to celebrate my job promotion. I'm vegan, and we had people who were vegetarian and gluten free (celiacs) and they accommodated all of us beautifully. Everything we had was delicious. The ambience was fantastic - we got the room upstairs all to ourselves and all the decor was on point. Everyone enjoyed their drinks (I had the Mezcal-Me Maybe which was a smoky take on a Moscow Mule) and the desserts were good too (including a vegan olive oil cake!)

Inaccurate Menu and Disappointing Food - Edit
I was looking for vegan breakfast tacos in Atlanta and found this place. Yet, when I went to the restaurant, they no longer had the vegan breakfast tacos even though they have them on their official website and even asked our waiter to no avail. I got the hash bowl which was fine, but the vegan options were both more expensive than the prices on their website. The “vegan egg” was a type of tofu paste (?) with a LOT of turmeric (I definitely would not call it an egg substitute). The ambience was nice, but a little tacky in my opinion.

I would only give it a little less of a 4 star rating because our food arrived a little cold and the cocktails we ordered weren’t that great. I wish our food was warmer, but everything was delicious, including the olive oil lemon cake. Our server, Jaylen, was also super helpful and kind.

I’ll give it five stars myself. The Panko Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts are enough to keep me coming back. The Confit Mushroom and Eggplant Montadito oh so close choices. Cannot wait to get back to my room to taste this Citrus Olive Oil cake!!! 🤤 #Veganuary

The vegan tapas items are delicious - Edit
Since it's a restaurant that serves meat + dairy, I didn't think their vegan options would be as good as they are. There were at least ten or so vegan tapas items to choose from and they were all delicious! For tapas, their portions seemed large and the prices were fair (cheap without alcohol on the check). I'm looking forward to going back.

I love the ambience and the patio at Buena Vida. It's especially great when there is a Happy Seed pop up on some mondays (her white queso is to die for). But all the vegan tapas I've had have been fantastic! The cocktails are not anything special but still worth coming back.

Went here to celebrate my birthday with friends and we sat out on the patio. Liked all the food I had (they have a whole vegan tapas section) especially the mushroom croquettes & the vegan empanada (was a special that night). Cocktails were tasty and the place has a cute ambience. We will be back!

New brunch spot - Edit
Went here for brunch with my Omni mother. Both of us LOVED the food we got. Great portion sizes and so much flavor! I got the pan con tomate and vegan breakfast tacos. They also have a vegan Bloody Mary which is rare to find so I was pumped about that! Will definitely be returning! Looking forward to trying their regular tapas menu.

Genuinely incredible. The vegan options are so delicious, and don’t make you feel like you’re missing out on anything. The mushroom croquettes are magical. The owner came over and mentioned that they were considering adding more vegan options, and maybe even a dessert! Definitely trying to find a time to come back!

I've now eaten at Buena Vida a few times and I must say this restaurant knocks it out of the park with their Vegan and Vegetarian offerings. Incredible attention to detail, taste, and amazing customer service. I could honestly eat their Mushroom Croquettes every single day.
