My husband and I stopped here this morning for breakfast. I ordered the vegan breakfast tacos and a golden milk latte, and my husband got the Tostada Con Huevos and regular coffee. The latte was fantastic. Loved it. However, neither of us enjoyed our food. My tacos were heavily over salted, with each component being extra salty in itself. It also only had a one textured mouth feel, very mushy. My husband said his was overly salty as well and had so much sauce covering everything. It was all he could taste. I was hoping to love this place after all of the great reviews, but unfortunately, we won't be back 😢

This restaurant had a wonderful assortment of breakfast and lunch items. Had great drinks, including espresso drinks a nice mugs. The food has a slightly Latin tinged influence. We had empanadas and fusion tacos. Super nice service. Don't forget to check out the trendy store in the back near the bathrooms!

Read moreMy 14 year old son had the daily special which was the superfood veggie burger with vegan cheese on GF bread. It was a huge, sloppy sandwich that he said hit the spot.
I had  the “present moment bowl”, which has kale, lentils, squash and tons of flavor. My husband had a tofu Banh Mi on GF bread. Another big, sloppy sandwich that was worth the stop.
All in all we were very happy with our lunch experience and would highly recommend.

This place is a true embodiment of its name, Buena Onda. The staff are kind and friendly. The ambiance is serene and peaceful. The food is delicious and wholesome. I got the vegan breakfast burrito, and my friend got the lentil & quinoa veggie breakfast bowl. They both offered generous portions - super filling! They have vegan pastries and a lot of drink options available as well.

I love Buena Onda! I usually get the Present Moment Bowl with tempeh, it’s sooo good. I have tried a couple other things but I just prefer this salad. It’s so fresh with a great dressing, highly recommend. Servers are always very nice and helpful.

Looking for a breakfast place is always a different thing when eating the plant based diet. But found this place. When we walked in everyone was super clean and wait Staff was amazing and such a relaxed atmosphere. Food was out of this world. I had the king mushroom special and it was amazing. All the dishes are very easily labeled and it is pretty easy to veganize a lot of the dishes.

There's a surprising lack of vegan restaurants in St. Augustine but thank goodness for the good vibes of Buena Onda, we literally stop in every day when we're in town for brunch, lunch or even just coffee and a yummy vegan treat, everything is fresh and flavorful. You can't go wrong with the vegan empanadas, my favorite are the Beyond meat and potato. The bagel and breakfast taco are other favs but what I really love are the daily specials, which are always creative with fresh ingredients and so delicious. The staff and owners are super nice and location is great, a cute little spot in the West King Arts District. #Veganuary

I have been here so many times, and they never fail to impress! Every item is delicious and they have new specials all of the time. The staff is very friendly and informed about dietary needs, but most things are vegan. They do have some cow cheese and eggs, but have delicious substitutes for no upcharge. Make sure you try their house made vegan ricotta!

This place was recommended to us when I told a local that I was vegan as having plenty of vegan options, and this is certainly true. Menu is actually a bit more extensive than what’s online, with more vegan options. Had an amazing soysage taco dish with breakfast potatoes, tofu scramble, and romesco sauce. Husband had the vegetarian version (with eggs). We both thought the food was fantastic.

They do lunch as well (after 11), but breakfast all day, until they close at 3pm. Will definitely be back!
