A bit disappointed by all the rave - Edit
We visited Buddy twice, since its the restaurant closest to where we’re staying in Rome, and we were s bit disappointed. The brunch is almost exclusively processed or frozen and reheated food with some vegetables. The tofu scrambled was a bit plain, not seasoned enough. Other day we’ve had the pinsa (kind of pizza) and it was very oily and the cheese was the typical coconut oil cheese that jist isn’t that tasty. The dessert served with brunch was just reheated frozen cake. There are better options (especially for pizza)in Rome, although they might nit be fully vegan, which we prefer.

Delicious vegan food in Rome - Edit
My boyfriend and I ate here twice while visiting Rome. Everything is 100% vegan and there are many dishes to choose from. We had the lasagna, Truffle pasta, bacon and egg pasta and a mushroom pinsa. All delicious.

I had the pancakes with fruit & my girlfriend had the aubergine parmesan, both were great. We went back on another day & tried the pizza, also good. They play good music too, heard The Blue Nile, Bowie & The Smiths.

Hard to believe it lived up to the hype of all these reviews but it actually is awesome. Tried the lasagna, a pizza, a pasta and a grill plate. All of it’s great especially the mock meat.

We visited this restaurant on our first day in Rome because of the good reviews. Although we went there with very high expectations, we were not disappointed at all. It was simply perfect. We ordered foccacio as a starter, which was absolutely delicious. Then we ordered pasta carbonara and a speck pinsa. I've never eaten such good vegan carbonara. Overall, the staff were very friendly, and they gave me a free bottle of water. I was also very surprised by the drinks. I ordered a Fanta and expected them to just give me a 0.33 liter glass like in other restaurants in Rome. Instead, my Fanta was beautifully presented, similar to a long drink. If I ever come back to Rome, I will definitely go back. Highly recommended!

We went twice during our trip to Rome and really enjoyed the generous portions of pasta - lasagne, carbonara and porcini mushroom dishes were all delicious. Even in high season we found we could get a table without booking which was convenient. Really friendly service and we'd love to go back to try more things!

everything i ordered was good and even though service was a little slow, it's obviously because of how great the food is. had the caeser salad and my friend had some type of carbonara, and got the tiramisu as dessert (which i definitely recommend! the tiramisu is light and delicious!) overall enjoyed ourselves so much!

Loved this place so much!!! The food was fabulous. And it had a great atmosphere. We split wine, bread, the lasagna, and one of their pasta dishes (forget the name). My boyfriend and I kept talking about this restaurant days after. So if you’re vegan and in Rome, I can’t recommend a better spot!

We had the best time here. We just kep coming back because they had so much delicious food on their menu. Our favourite was the truffle pasta. The lasagna was also our favourite. Everything we tried though was amazing! 10 out of 10💗
