Good restaurant, but beware of fish sauce - Edit
Buddha is a very nice restaurant in the centre of Lüneburg. There is a vegetarian section on the menu that has several choices, but all contain fish sauce. The allergens are indicated, so fortunately we saw this. We asked if it could be left out, and the staff explained that every dish could be veganized except the red curry.
Read moreBecause I initially had wanted to order the red curry, the staff proposed to prepare a veggie curry with massaman curry paste, a bit like a cross over between the two dishes. It tasted very well! My husband had the Pat Pak Sichuan and liked it a lot, too. The meals were filling and very fresh.
The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere is nice as well.
We recommend a visit here but as said above, you should ask about the fish sauce.
Update: We went again and I had the peanut sauce dish, very good as well!
