Disappointing

I went here hoping to try the vegan truffles, which were on the menu on the website. The only vegan thing they had was a mango panna cotta type cake. It was nice enough but nothing amazing. I don't think I'd bother going back!

Pros: One vegan cake

Cons: Only one vegan cake, Menu different to website

Good quality but charged extra for plant milk

Nice to find a café that offers almond or soya milk for coffee, though rather surprised to be charged 70 cents extra for a vegan cappuchino. All pastries were vegetarian (no hidden pork fat). There weren't any vegan pastries but all the truffles were vegan and the one we had was very nice. Although this café is almost on the seafront, sadly it is in a shopping centre without much of a view so we ordered to take away. Lovely staff and owner.

Pros: Vegan cappuccino, Vegan truffles

Cons: Charged quite a lot extra for plant milk, Quite pricey generally

excellent cakes (and no hidden pork fat)

This is definitely my favourite spot when it comes to sweets. First of all, everything is absolutely delicious. Second, I can eat everything and be sure it's vegetarian as they don't use pork fat as many local pastry shops; also the savoury small tarts are always vegetarian (they don't always have them, though).
I would say that this place is just perfect for a vegetarian. If you are vegan you will receive a good service as well, they have not a huge selection of vegan options (also due to scarce request, I imagine) but they are really willing to do their best!

Pros: delicious food&beverages, friendly and attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere

Cons: no wide variety of vegan options (yet)
