Anti-government, capitalist propaganda

Before even entering the restaurant we almost left because of the sign saying no one wants to work "due to all the government handouts", and encouraging tipping because they obviously don't pay their stagg enough.

Have a beyond burger option which is about as good as you can hope fore in the area. It was good, nothing to write home about (especially not on an $8 mailing coconut). Adds some variety to food options in the area, though, and not too expensive.

Great Beyond Burger

Grilled and Bubba style was awesome. Grateful the option exists. Was great and affordable for HI.

Pros: Great Beyond Burger, Fries good too

Cons: Only one option but so what

Not that good

They had a beyond burger, but the cheese wasn’t vegan and the fries were fried in the same oil they fry their animal based burgers. So for me was a no go for the fries. The burger was cheap(compared with the area) but SO small! Honestly only worth if there’s no other option. Service was quick, but we got there before it even opens so we could have it before our flights. We were the first to order. Check it out if they are open before you go, right now they are close on sundays and mondays.

Decent quick burger

Quick and casual, great for after a day on the beach. Vegan beyond burger and fries

Best priced Beyond Meat protein on the island

I saw a sign outside this place that said “healthy food sucks” or something similar. So I never thought they’d have delicious vegan food or that I would end up coming here twice. I’m glad I decided to look at the menu!

They have a Beyond Burger (vegan as is, no mayo or cheese) for $7.75. At our hotel less than two miles away, the Grand Hyatt, the burger is $22 before tip.

The service is pretty quick. It’s greasy, but what do you expect? I ate mostly healthy on Kauai while vacationing so didn’t mind a little indulgence here.

I would definitely come back to this place if I visited again. In an area where a single puka dog is $8.49 and a Beyond could be $22, this is a great deal per gram of protein. Probably one of the best deals to get some post-workout fuel around.
