Nice buffet, but not a very nice atmosphere for eating

The buffet has a lot of vegan options which were all very delicious.
However, we didn't really enjoy eating in the restaurant, since it's next to a very busy road, so it gets very noisy and also quite hot during the day.
But they also deliver, so that's a nice option.

Pros: Big selection of vegan items, Good price

Eat like a local with good nutrition

The price is amazingly cheap as it is a more local to go restaurant. Buffet with lots of option to choose from and most importantly it is acutely what local usually eat for their daily i guess.

Good peanut sauce

Finally I found a place in Canggu with local and cheap food. Very tasty and fresh, good choice of vege dishes, the portions are big.

Buffet Warung with plenty Vegan options

This is a safe Warung to avoid Bali belly. They have many vegan options, I tried tofu, tempeh , rice and beans, they were all delicious. It is also super cheap. Worth visiting to try the local cuisine.

Great food, great price

This is a great little spot to eat at if you want to eat delicious Indonesian food at a typical low price point. Soooo many vegan options, it’s great.
It can get pretty crowded at peak time when you order, and the food is not piping hot as it sits behind two rows of a glass booth set up. But it has a lot of taste and this isn’t such an issue for most of the items you would expect to have at room temp. But some items, like the potato or corn fritter, aren’t warm at all.
This is a solid option if you want to have a quick, cheap meal and nothing too fancy.

Pros: Heaps of vegan options , Cheap, worth the money

Cons: Lukewarm food, Hurried service and setting

Sorry for the quality- there’s sweet tempeh, corn fritter, potato cake, mi goreng, long beans with tempeh and eggplant (spicy) cost 30K ($3AUD) at Bu Mi in Canggu

Unbelievable

The food is fantastic and the value is insane. We went twice and, both times, each huge plate of food came to approximately 30000 Rp (about £1.65), and we were so full afterwards. I love tofu and tempeh I got my fill here, but the kidney beans dish, the fritters and the potato dish were all excellent. This is a must go if you're in Canggu.

Lots of vegan options at good prices. They make fresh food till late. Tempeh is really good.

So many choices

I ended up with way more food than I needed because there were so many vegan options that I wanted to try. I had multiple different veggies, tofu, and tempeh, and an ice tea for 42k. I could have taken half the plate and been full so you can get an even cheaper meal for sure.

Delicious!

A must visit. You choose the dish you want and pay per portion. Really tasty dishes, huge portions and lovely smiley owners. So cheap aswell, veg/tofu/tempeh dishes are R4k.

Great food

Great food, lots of choice including tofu, jackfruit, Tempe ect
Everything is labelled with a vegan symbol which is helpful!
Very cheap, I spent 28k on 4 dishes and a drink! (About £1.48!)
I was also able to pay on my Monzo debit card with no fees.

Cheap padang food with vegan choices

Food is okay, nothing to rave about, but they do have a lot of variety even for vegans and vegetarians. Different choices of rice, stuff is friendly. Great, cheap lunch in Canggu. Food could be spicier for my liking. Wasn’t really impressed with the coffee, definitely not a Balinese coffee which I would expect at a more local place. I would come again if I was in Canggu.

Cheap (for Canggu main street) and good!

It's not reeeeeeeeally necessary to add this listing, as there are heaps of vegan/veg places in Bali.

BUT
this is along the main stretch closer to the beach, across the street from Motion Cafe / Memoh Warung, and it's very local -- which sometimes, you just want to either save some money, or have something with rice, or just live more like a local.

I'm not sure how they price the dishes... depends on how much you choose. Assume less than 50K. There are many different dishes behind the window, and you select which you want on your plate, so it's quite straightforward. My friend has a serious nut allergy, and they were very clear with keeping her happy =)

My plate was 37K, I'm happy to get lots and lots of tempeh and veg.


There are a few other places I know of, that are like this but completely veg, but I have yet to try those (Oma Jamu, 9 Angels, 9 Warung).


EDIT: I changed the title because before it read "Super cheap", which it is completely not. But it's cheap for a main street resto in Canggu. After exploring other areas, local style nasi campur buffet can be found for 10-20K. I don't go here anymore because I prefer to support more local-style, strictly vegan places (so hopefully there will be more in the future!!).

Lots of vegan options

Very cheap buffet (my partners meal came to 25k and mine 35k). Would recommend to anyone wanting cheap food with lots of vegan options

Pros: Lots of vegan choices, Tasty

Cons: Some food was abit cold

Best nasi campur in Canggu

This place is amazing! There’s so many vego options and it’s quite cheap
The portions are huge which is also a big positive
Definitely recommend can get quite busy and you know it’s pretty good because even Indonesians eat there
