Top notch food, best place in the city?

The location is a bit off the main street in the city, but directions are given by a visible sign. The menu is also found on the wall in the alleyway, so one can study before going in.

Lovely interior in Vietnamese style. I was greeted by nice and friendly staff, which provided great service and follow up throughout the visit.

I opted for the "to hu xao xa ot" wok tofu. It was phenomenal! The vegetables had just the right crunch with still looking and feeling fresh. The tofu had a lovely flavoured taste, and the rice was cooked to perfection! The food was ready quickly as well (only two customers at the time of the visit)

I will definitely visit here at least once every time I come back to Lillehammer!

Pros: The food, The people, The speed

Cons: Could be better marked vegan options.

Good vegan options

They can customize almost all the main dishes to be vegan and switching to tofu instead of meat.
Tasty food

Excellent food, very friendly service

Cute restaurant, lovely staff, great food. We ordered:

39. Hu Tieu Xao Xa Ot
kr 229,00
Spicy rice noodles, tofu (which we asked for instead of beef), vegetables, chilli, lemongrass and peanuts

30. Wok Tofu med chili og lemongrass
kr 229,00
Wok-fried vegetables and tofu with chilli and lemongrass

both of which were excellent. We'll definitely go there again on our next visit to Lillehammer.

Pros: The option to swap meat for tofu, large variety of good-quality veggies, well-prepared dishes, good extra seasoning options

Tasty Vietnamese!

According to the staff, most of the dishes can be made vegan when ordering. However, just to be sure I ordered the tofu/lemongrass dish which was by default vegan.

The dish was, unexpectedly, super yummy!
I also had the taro "cake", which was great too.

The staff was very polite, and helpful; although they were using the words vegetarian with vegan indistinctively; so I had to re-confirm a couple of times that my dish was vegan (and not vegetarian).

But once the food arrived, it was all good. :)
Considering we are in Lillehammer, it was a very good choice.

Pros: yummy, plenty of vegan options?, frendly staff

Cons: not all vegan
