Very tasty! - Edit
There are not many vegan options in Coron and this restaurant was the best choice we had here. The food is actually really good.
Read moreI had the creamy coconut Vegan Local food made from jackfruit, so yum!!, Also the baked beans, curry and spaghetti with tomatosauce are good, spagetti come with parmesan so make sure to order them without. One dish costs around 200 pesos.
They offer coffee with coconut milk and nice fresh juices as well. Yum! I came back 3 times!
Pros: Tasty food, Best vegan food in Coron
Cons: A bit more pricey, Serves meat as well

Very tasty and several vegan options. Waiters know what vegan is. - Edit
I told them I was vegan before entering and they knew what I meant and showed me the specials board which had vegan options on it. The main menu also has vegan options. The food was very tasty.

Vegan Filipino options - Edit
Nice place that offers vegan friendly versions of Filipino dishes such as Bicol Express (which we had and was delicious). It’s nice to be able to try traditional foods in a very meat orientated country. It took us a while to get a seat but they took our order whilst we waited at the bar so once we got a table our order arrived quickly.

Good selection - Edit
I had chickpeas and green beans, it didn't come with much rice but there was a generous portion of chickpeas and green beans. There were many vegetarian/vegan options. The quality wasn't amazing but the price wasn't high either

Small restaurant - Edit
I like the look of this place, it's cosy, and busy most of the time! When we came here, we had to wait a while for a table, but that was no problem! We had the veg curry which was really tasty and filling!

The space is small and always full at dinner time. Still the service is fast. Tasty food with both Philippines and Western selections. Apart from the menu they have dishes of the day. Pricey compared to the rest of the restaurants in town but good value for money. Lots of choices with beans and chickpeas which is not easy to find in that area.

disappointed. - Edit
Being a solo traveler I was seated at the bar, 100% uncomfortable as my feet could not rest (the seat is very high) so my legs were tingly and sleeping after a very short time.
Read moreThe food sounded great: pita with hummus and falafel and veggies.
It had a bad, weird, sour taste to it. Vegetables were taken out before I could even finish them.
Will not go back.
Pros: looks nice
Cons: not solo-friendly, food had a bad taste.

50/50 - Edit
For an island where vegetables cost more than meat, it's pretty difficult to find vegan options so was nice to have a restaurant that caters to this. They also serve peanuts as a nibble while you wait (I waited around fifteen minutes for my food). Tried the 'local vegan' jackfruit with coconut milk curry thing, which in spite of the small-ish portion was like a party in my mouth. However this can probably also be found at some canderias, which I have yet to compare. The papaya juice was fine but had added sugar. The French family next to me had ordered spaghetti which came with a smidgeon of cashew pesto, and they hadn't been offered peanuts. So they seemed pretty peeved. Also probably a bit too pricey for what it should be, and what it was until very recently.

good food but.. - Edit
A long wait to have our order, almost one hour. The food was good but too spicy and with a lot of garlic in it. The vegetarian portions are smaller than the meat ones, I don’t know why and the waitress also doesn’t know.

Nice place, nice food - Edit
They have a two page vegetarian menu, where almost all dishes are or can be made vegan. We went twice and I really liked their vegetable curry. I recommend coming early for dinner, otherwise you have to wait for a table which took a while.

A good few options for vegans. Both the curries are DELICIOUS. Came here more than once for lunch and dinner! Can get quite busy in the eve and only a few tables. Note the location is actually on the Main Street near Levine’s :)

Very beautiful and clean restaurant. Host is very nice and welcoming. The food is ok. Not to unique but they are ready to change most of the dishes so they'd be vegan. Recomended to every vegan who stops here in town.

After 10 days in Philippines struggling to find vegan food I was so happy to go to Brujita. Their offer a nice variety of vegetarian/vegan dishes. I have tried only one curry with sweet potatoes and it was delicious. I definitely recommend this place !

great vegan food! - Edit
In an otherwise non-vegan Coron, this place is a little haven offering a full vegetarian menu 2 pages long that can all be adapted to be vegan just by omitting egg ingredients. We loved the veggie coconut curry and rice, we also tried the jackfruit coconut curry and mungbean stew again all delicious and lovely. All orders are made fresh and so you wait a little time for your food but it is definitely worth it. You can also have a freshly made fruit juice, coconut water or beer while you wait. We went here a few times while staying in Coron we liked the staff and the food! Definitely a must visit for veggies and vegans!

Good food - Edit
We were there two times and tried a veggie curry, and a local vegan dish with saisonal veggies. Also the hummus with pita bread (portion is for two). For the hummus you need to preorder a day before, cause the chef is cooking it fresh. The owner said, they add calamansi (little Filipino citrus) and next day it turned to sour. But we saw at the local market also lemon and asked us we he don't use them and prepared this. Anyway it was good!

Lovely little cafe/bar on main road in Coron that serves both meat, fish and a wide selection of vege options. Mostly Filipino but with some European options.
Read moreTried the homemade hummus and homemade pitta! Delicious. Order one day ahead as its all made fresh.
Also chickpea or mongo curry for under 100 pesos! I believe these are all vegan too but just ask George the owner who cooks each individual dish from scratch!
I also liked the look of the fried cheese but the typhoon spoiled that fun!
Lovely atmosphere too and the best value food on the island.. A solace for veggies in he Philippines!
Pros: Cheap , Always Fresh , Tasty
