Fancy delicious vegan meal - Edit
Separate vegan menu and server very knowledgeable about what was vegan versus not. Even brought out special bread that didn't have the butter brushed on.

Located in the Fairmont orchid, out back by the pool, not the easiest to find as signs are small.

Beautiful Setting Few Choices - Edit
The restaurant is in the Fairmont Hotel Resort. They did not have a Vegan menu and just one vegan entree. We made an entree out of two side dishes. Very expensive, however what we had was delicious. I would go for the setting before the food.

Great night out - Edit
We had the congee and the Tempura Tofu and they were both great. The poached pear salad was refreshing. Better still was the outdoor ambiance and the wine list (extensive and not over priced).

Amazing vegan menu, beautiful - Edit
This is my second trip to Fairmont we go for psychiatry conference and whereas I am not crazy about this resort I do find that this restaurant is one of the best parts and everyone loves it. They have an entirely vegan menu and the beet salad is amazing, as is most of the vegan menu. The dining and view is beautiful and the service and entertainment is aces!

Great special occasion restaurant - Edit
Called ahead to make a reservation & mentioned there was a vegan in the party. The waiter made sure to point out the vegan options and which could be made vegan. The crispy tofu & green salad were both delicious. The vegan dessert was also very good.

beautiful setting - Edit
We chose the fairmont as they specifically have a vegan menu. It is a pricey spot but comparable to other similar upscale spots in Hawaii. We enjoyed the salad, crispy tofu, and lau lau. The portions were good. The view of the ocean is wonderful as well

Excellent Vegan Fine Dining - Edit
If you are looking for a special dinner right on the beach, this is a great spot. We had the Crispy Sesame Tofu, Big Island Vegetable Curry, and Sauteed Mushrooms side, everything was delicious and presented beautifully. The prices are about what one would expect from a fine resort restaurant, too expensive for everyday (for us, anyway!), but for a special night out it wasn't bad. Service was excellent, the view unbeatable. Reservations usually a must.
