No longer has vegan items - Edit
This place once offered some vegan dumplings, but no longer: nothing Vegan was listed on the menu, and when I asked the staff member, he confirmed that they don't offer any vegan food anymore. I'll ask that this place be removed from Happy Cow, but in the meantime, I give it a one-star review.

East village dumpling shop - Edit
The shop is cute with its automat and worth a visit. The veg dumplings, vegan and gluten free, were small and chewy. A few vegan varieties on the menu including Thai chicken, impossible cheeseburger, and spicy chicken.

Worth a try - Edit
Was still hungry after Dumpling Man so we decided to try these. The outside is gluten free cauliflower based. It's more like stuffed mochi than like a dumpling. The filling was good and flavorful. My friend gave it a 6, I give it a 7. I wouldn't rush back, but it's a good pick if you're out of options in the area.
