No vegan options before lunch

We were there at 11 am, when only the very limited breakfast menu or cake was available. No vegan cakes and nothing but toast on the breakfast menu. 🫤

Pros: Atmosphere

Great little spot!

So glad we stumbled across this spot! We couldn’t find any other vegan food in Moffat, and due to a glitch in the happy cow app we couldn’t look any up either. We were pleasantly surprised to find a well labeled vegan section of the menu at Brodie’s. Apparently this menu changes from time to time, too. We had the soup of the day (cauliflower turmeric) and the Baba Ganouj panini. The food was delicious, service was friendly, and the atmosphere was so charming. We also opted to sit in the attached tea room/gin lounge rather than the main dining room which was so charming. Many locals enjoying afternoon tea. A must-stop for any vegans visiting Moffat!

Wonderful. Dog-friendly, single-friendly, vegan-friendly

Stop reading this and JUST GO HERE! I found out that many patrons go out of their way to come here, and I shall continue to do so in the future. In the morning I had an oatmilk latte in the 'sitting room' which is the cutest and cosiest place. I enjoyed it so much I went back at lunch time and had the most AMAZING baba ganoush in a toastie. My two dogs and I were made to feel SO welcome. Biscuits were brought for the dogs, magazines brought over for me, and as a SOLO TRAVELLER this is so very, very much appreciated. There were about 5 plant-based options for lunch. All looked lovely.

In the evenings it transforms itself into a gin bar. I can imagine sitting on one of their sofas on a winter's evening with a book and my dogs soaking up the vibe.

I heartily recommend this place. And remember there is a Camping and Caravanning Club Site about 100 metres away.

Pros: Outstanding, friendly service, Fantastic food and coffee, Wonderful atmosphere

Cons: I wish there were more vegan cakes

Great falafel

I had the falafel for lunch and it was really nice. They have quite a few vegan options for lunch such as quorn nuggets and falafel
