Quite quiet

We came here on a Sunday evening at the end of August 2020 as lockdown was easing. It was very quiet but almost too quiet. A bit draughty with a window open. Limited pizza menu was excellent value (2for1) and tasted fine. Had to ask for the dip to go with the wings. We will edit our review again in future when we can be back having atmosphere in venues!

Pros: Value

New chef

I ate here a year ago and had a very nice falafel. However, having just passed the establishment I saw a sign saying Vegan Kitchen. They are now totally vegan and I intent to try them out next time I am in the city.

Pilaf bowl yum!

Love this place, it always has a small but tasty menu with prominent vegan options. Staff don't look at you like you've got two heads when you say you're vegan, food comes out quickly, a great place to get a bite to eat before a gig downstairs. Also a range of White Russians which can be made with vegan milk. The menu tends to change every few months. I had the pilaf bowl the other night and it was amazing.

Pros: Quick service,, tasty vegan options, menu changes

beer

i only had some beer as i was at a gig.

the menu looked ok, a bit of jackfruit action but mainly tofu.seemed to be an Asian theme with meat, and tofu to replace it.

Pros: good gig, organic beer

Cons: meat
