The food is not bad but... - Edit

First, they have very few vegan options. Second the decorations are not vegan. There is a deer antler and taxidermy deer head. The vegan burger is FIRE and it is affordable so it gets a pass.

Post covid there is no more lunch buffet... There is a falafel wrap.. And a couple salads that can be modified..

decent lunch buffet for vegans - Edit

I have eaten the lunch buffet a handful of times when my family visits and treats me to their favorite place in Freeport, and the buffet has always been amply stocked with salad greens and toppings, roasted vegetables, and fruit. The buffet is $19.95 per person and includes a soft drink, coffee, or tea, and dessert, though none of the desserts have been vegan on my visits. Given the sparse vegan options in Freeport, I might actually spring for the all-you-can-eat salad at that price for a huge lunch even if I was paying. I have considered ordering a couple menu items that have been able to be made vegan, but the buffet has always had such enticing vegetables that I just stuck with the buffet. Staff have always been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful when answering questions and giving suggestions about vegan options. The hunting and fishing theme of the dining area has bothered me a couple times, but even with that I would still choose to eat here while in Freeport since many of the other options in the area also have those same elements.

Pros: large vegan salad selection at the buffet, non-alcoholic drink included with buffet

Cons: fixed buffet price is high for vegan choices, hunting and fishing themed dining area
