Burgers and booze - Edit
This is such a cool place with fascinating music, film and football nostalgia decor and such friendly staff. We ordered the crispy tofu and miso aubergine plant burgers and a lovely geordie begoda beer from the impressive drinks menu (all brinkburn St own beers are vegan) and sat outside. Both burgers came with fries and were so flavourful. The tofu patty was cooked just right and I loved the szechuan seasoning and apple and red cabbage slaw that cut through perfectly. The miso aubergine burger was also delicious with a nice crunch coming from the pickled cucumbers. A con would be to expand the vegan main options, as you can only get the burgers I mentioned or small plate sides but I can't fault the food I got and would order them again.
