Great Thai food - Edit
I eat here often and have enjoyed everything I’ve had. Their orange chicken is a favorite and I really like their salad dressing. The Thai iced tea is really good too. Their vegetables are delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food! - Edit
I really enjoy this place. I Love that they have so many options! My favorite has to be the Pad Thai and the Pineapple fried rice. Their spring rolls are REALLY good. And if you come before 3:30pm, they have Lunch specials for under $9! I would say that the one negative would be, that sometimes it's really busy and you'll probably be waiting for a while to be seated and to get your food as well. The service could be better but the staff is friendly. Overall I Love it! Try their carrot cake super delish!

Great food FAST!!!! - Edit
Love everything I’ve tried on the menu (which has been a lot) the service is fast and the few times where I’ve had to wait it’s been 20min or less. The ice cream is is ridiculously good. The Thai tea with boba is the best I’ve had in a while and the shrimp batter is a must!!!

Corona has next to nothing when it comes to options to eat out, and Bright Star is about 30 mins away but worth the drive! Fairly priced and the food has always been good without fail.

Incredible and Authentic Thai! - Edit
This place is amazing! Clean with fast service, everything cane out hot and fresh. As a new vegan, I am very surprised as how all the sauces tasted authentic-like the kind traditionally used with fish sauce. The fried appetizers were crisp and delicious accompanied by housemade sauce.

Thai Vegan is the best - Edit
Before I knew of Happy Cow, I stumbled on this place. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. It is all vegan, casual, super filling, and cost effective. My partner and I would go on dates here and leave paying like $27 with leftovers, a good tip, and not want to eat the rest of the day cause we ate so much! There are a ton of great food but the following are the highlights. The raw tofu rolls are a good easy starter. The orange chicken is perfect for those unsure/unfamiliar with vegan food. Tom Ka soup is great to share. Thai tea is a fun treat. And lastly, YOU HAVE TO GET THE FRIED BANANA DESSERT WITH ICE CREAM!!! Oh my goodness. It makes my Homer Simson growl it is so good.

Bland!
Read moreMy husband and I are both long-time vegans and have stopped here on occasion in a pinch because it's close to where we live.
Firstly, the place is dingy, and very uninspiring. The miso soup is very good, but let's be honest - how hard is it to make miso soup? My husband has ordered the orange chicken - it wasn't good - very gloppy sauce and the faux meat had a weird taste. I've ordered their curry, soups, and stir fry veggies and they are lacking. The rice is very oily, which is a huge turnoff, and the food has little or no flavor.
Like, I said - good in a pinch, better than having to go to subway for a salad.
Pros: Miso Soup, Convenient
Cons: Bland

Excellent experience - Edit
They have a very wide variety of options in their menu which makes it exciting every time, sometimes the might take a little longer to cook the food because they prepare each dish so keep that in mind; nevertheless, everything is delicious, affordable and healthy! LOVE this place, their food and the staff.

We stopped in about 2pm on a Sunday and were lucky enough to have perfect timing because as soon as we were seated 3 large parties and quite a few smaller groups came in- the place was packed! Really great food and great prices! Super friendly staff. If we're in the area again we will for sure be returning.

Yummy spicy noodles - Edit
Saw this place on Happycow and stopped in for a meal this week. Here's my Bright Star thai restaurant review.
Read moreOn a Saturday afternoon this place was packed. Diners had to wait just for a table, cuz the 2 wait staff was too busy to even clean up the tables. It's not that they are ignoring customers, it's that they are overwhelmed. I think owner should hire an extra helper on the weekends.
Anyways it appeared to me that the diners are regulars who come for the lunch special deals. The orange chicken and fried foods (fried chicken, fried shrimp, french fries) seem to be the popular orders.
We shared the spicy mint noodle (very good), papaya salad (good), and steamed dumplings (a bit watery and hollow).
I realized that the noodles tasted good because Thai chefs are in the kitchen -- unlike other thai veg places where they employ non-thai cooks.
I would definitely return again and order other dishes to try.
Pros: Thai chefs in the kitchen, good taste
Cons: poor ventilation, expect a wait, need more staff on weekends
