Small but tasty Vegan Menu. At time of review there's currently 3 vegan mains and 2 starters.
The menu is well labelled and the tagliatelle was delicious!
This is an upmarket restaurant on O'Connell Street in Sligo town centre.
We arrived on a Friday evening and made a reservation. The menu is mainly meat/fish but there are vegetarian options and these can be veganised.
Our waitress did say that if we had mentioned we were vegan when booking that they might have been able to make more suggestions.
They brought us freshly made bread and olive oil while we were ordering.
We had a beetroot salad as a starter which was wonderful. Multi-coloured beetroot in a tangy dressing with salad leaves.
Main course was grilled aubergine with miso and pomegranates, with a tangy cabbage based salad on the side. We also added fries and broccoli.
Dessert was a strawberry sorbet.
Food was genuinely very good. It is an expensive place but we had a really good meal.
The waitress was very attentive and knew exactly what options were possible for us.
