CLOSED: Brianna's Bananas Cafe

This is definitely a breakfast/lunch bistro. It's a eat in place but very small and because everything is self made, it takes a few minutes for your order to get ready. They had a variety of smoothies to choose from which led me to get the "Hangover Smoothie" which was awesome; this included bananas, strawberries, mango, electrolytes, and orange juice! I also had the Spinach and Egg Panini which was also excellent. If your in Ocean City, definitely check out the smoothies!!!

I should have written this review sooner but for one reason or another I have not been able to get to it. I visited Ocean City, MD back in June '10 and was just turned vegan (2 months) when I did. I remember searching for vegetarian friendly places and came up with very few options that would be convenient for me while I was there. Brianna's was one of them and the most convenient one for me to go to. They have delicious smoothies and the veggie/balsamic vinegar wrap I had there was absolutely delicious. I actually made a pit-stop at Brianna's before leaving town to head home because i enjoyed it so much that I wanted to take some of it on the road with me! Perhaps they could offer more options but honestly when it is hot and summery out, a delicious chilled fruit smoothie or a light veggie wrap hits the spot just perfectly. Not too filling for the hot days on the beach! Great place to have right there near the beach because it offers those looking for healthy food choices a nice safe haven amidst all of the junky fast food places that litter the area! The only downfall that I remember of this restaurant was that they had funky hours so there was a couple of times that I stopped by that they were not open. Not a big deal though really. The staff was very friendly. I met the owners while I was there and they were very friendly and personable people. I will definitely visit the restaurant again when I am back in Ocean City!

She only has a fruit smoothie, veggie fajita & panini with cheese. nothing else for us.
