Vegans beware - Edit

Disclaimer - this experience happened over two years ago.
I ate at Brewligans as a vegan and as someone with a severe dairy allergy. I ordered an item off the vegan menu and ate nearly the entire thing before realizing it had milk in it. I always make staff aware of my allergy and double check even when something is labeled vegan. I ended up in the hospital and it turns out my entire meal was actually cooked in butter. I have not been back since and probably never will be, but this is just blatant negligence. You expect something off a vegan menu to actually be vegan. I don’t know if this was a one off thing and a chef made a mistake or if this is common practice for them, but if you have allergies or are a stern vegan, this probably isn’t the place for you.

Small vegan menu in neighborhood tavern - Edit

They have 5 vegan options on the regular menu, and one vegan option on the brunch menu. May be able to substitute others; I didn't ask. I got the vegan crunch wrap - it was really good! Happy to have vegan options at a small bar like this without having to get a salad. Was a bit pricey, but I would definitely go back.

Always out of vegan options - Edit

Ive been there numerous times, their vegan menu consists of 2 burgers, a quesadilla, and a sausage. Multiple times ive been there they were out of the veggie patties, a few times they were out of the vegan cheese, as well as vegan bacon which is on their burger. I finally got to try a burger (the plain one, not the bacon one) and it was pretty good. The quesadilla is awful, the vegan cheese is not melted, it has the consistency of rubber. Ive had a mix of good and bad service. Their salsa is good, im sure they have good vegetarian options but I would avoid if you are vegan.
