Great vegan breakfast

Came here for a breakfast on a very long journey after numerous motorway services could not satisfy our needs. As a vegan I struggle to find a place that can fully cater for me, however, this was not the case here. Tamera, an asset to the team assisted me on the make of the vegan items available and also pointed out the vegan items on the buffet. The vegan item me were cooked to perfection and was all yummy!

Limited options but decent quality

First time going to a Brewers Fayre and I think the title sums it up. Very limited options (just 2 mains on the menu suitable for vegans). I tried the soya burger with ‘shredded soya’ on top, brioche bun and salad with BBQ sauce. Overall it was fine, though the burger was slightly overcooked and a bit dry. The shredded soya just seemed like a bit of burger shredded up and put on top rather than something meant to taste different.

The apple pie and custard was better. I personally prefer a soft pastry which this had. Fans of crunchy pie crust, look elsewhere.

Pros: Chain menu so know what you’re getting

Cons: Very limited options
