Great food and great beer. Venue is dog friendly too. The menu is 50% vegan, and of those options I would say the meals are actually tasty and not that sad, “tick-a-box” type vegan options lots of pubs tend to have. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it’s way too expensive for a pub!

I went as my friends as they wanted a pub feed which they did deliver, though it was double the price of a regular meal, so afterwards I wondered if I actually should have just gone somewhere else and had two meals.
Read moreI have a parmi, which surprisingly came with eggplant on top. On the whole it was nice, though the cheese they used only worked where it was layered thick.
As an Australian I basically exclusively know Brewdog from British sources talking about how dodgy and ethically questionable they are. And the whole bar is plastered with signs and shirts claiming they are carbon negative, which is a joke as the carbon negative section of their website is out of date talking about something big was coming last year.
Pros: Half the menu can be made vegan, Feels like "a pub feed" because of serving size, Nice layout
Cons: Price, Brewdog are very ethically questionable

Great on tap beers and extensive vegan menu. 2 for 1 Mondays made this a very reasonable midweek meal! Only hiccup we had was with an aioli that came out. It wasn’t vegan so I’m glad we checked! Leave some time before or after to wander through the old steel works.
