"VEGAN" clearly on the menu! - Edit
Okay we wish they were all 100% vegan restaurants, but reality is we are far from that - but to have this non-vegan restaurant clearly have "VEGAN" displayed on the front page of their menu with several options including unique options that we don't see very often such as pancakes and eggs is terrific. Impossible to give a dead animal serving restaurant five stars, but for their consideration, I give them four stars!

Great spot for brunch (for those with non vegan family or friends) - Edit
I’ve been here a few times and all those times have been pretty great. Aside from the drinks- they have solid vegan options and sometimes offer specialties such as Vegan Tres Leches pancakes. I’ve had the pancakes and the Vegan Jammin’ Bennie. I do want to go back and try the other vegan plates, but the Bennie is so good and hasn’t let me down.

Simply TERRIBLE! - Edit
My partner and I came here since I’m vegan of 7 years and she is not. It took forever to serve us and it didn’t look so crowded. When the waiter did get to us, he had to tell another server our order because they were changing shifts. My gf’s food comes out and EVERYTHING she ordered came out cold. We asked for a remake but really should’ve got it off the bill altogether. I ordered the open face omelet and it was bland as heck. I’m used to seasoning in my food and my potatoes were hot unlike my gf’s. I got a Spicy Bloody Maria since it’s so hard to find vegan Bloody Mary mix. That too was subpar, and they make their own house Bloody Mary mix. The whole place was a disappointment considering we came for breakfast food and the place has the word “Breakfast” in it. If you like bland food and sluggish service, then this place is highly recommended!
Read moreI had to ask three times for ketchup and hot sauce. I had to grab my own salt and pepper from another table. The server looked like she didn’t want to be there but she was friendly. So this one star is for the server.
Side note: ask for regular ketchup because what they hand you in a bottle has Worcestershire (fish oil) sauce in it.
Pros: Leaving , Learning I won’t be back
Cons: Everything

I try to always give a restaurant/business a second chance cuz you never know what was happening with them at that time. Maybe they were short staffed - which many many restaurants and other businesses were during that time that you went. BTW, thanks for the tip on the ketchup because I did not know that!

Amazing vegan breakfast burrito and lattes - Edit
There are 5 clearly labeled vegan options on the menu and they are GOOD. I got the vegan breakfast burrito and it was probably the BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had. Pricey but worth it because it was a lot of food- I easily saved half for later.
Read moreThey also offer oat milk for their coffee. The mocha latte I had was amazing.
Tip: The prices were cheaper in the restaurant than ordering online.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, Offers plant milk for coffee, Large portions

Good Vegan options - Edit
Designated section on menu, unfortunately did not have any just egg when we went so they gave us extra avocado, waiter was helpful in suggesting the alternative. Ordered the breakfast burrito, the black beans (on the side) were super tasty. Also ordered the avocado toast which were interested as had strawberries and pomegranates, insta pic worthy as presentation was 👌

Vegan Options -plant based eggs! - Edit
I had a great experience at Breakfast Republic!
Read moreI had options all off the vegan portion of their menu. It is nice on the menu it has a subtitle of vegan and then some options so no guess work is required. I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito, avocado toast and vegan omelette. The avocado toast was really high quality in terms of taste and was on delicious bread. Perfect to split.
The fact that they have plant based eggs here is awesome!
The breakfast burrito has plant-based eggs and plant-based meat on it! It is really savory, hearty, and filling. The breakfast burrito comes with a side of beans and rice that taste quite good!
The vegan omelette I really like but my friend wasn’t as into it. It was salty if you like that.
They have a fun drink menu both alcoholic drinks and coffees.

ambience wonderful, food underwhelming😡 - Edit
stumbled upon this place when visiting LA. the ambience and service was fantastic and i enjoyed all of the chicken symbolism. there is a specific vegan menu with about five options that all sounded delicious. the food itself was a bit underwhemling though. the potatoes were a little dry and the meal itself wasn’t as great as i hyped it up to be in my head. but if i am back in LA, i will try other things to see how they taste!!!

Good Options - Edit
I’ve visited this place before in San Diego. Nice breakfast place with food for everyone. Has good menu options along with vegan meat. Not a bad choice if needing something in the area.
