What a beautiful find - Edit
Firstly, loved the interior and the vibe of the place. The people add to the vibe with a calm and friendly approach. Secondly, so many vegan options! Was happily surprised. Had the Apple Streudel and it was delicious, felt all the flavors were just in the right proportions. Also had the mini chocolate cake. Felt the same with this too, although the sugar content was on the lower side. Definitely coming back multiple times to explore the rest of the items.

One of my favorite local places - Edit
Small family run bakery with limited hours but delicious food. Close to historic main Street but not actually on it. I love their sourdough and Gilroy garlic loaves as well as their cookies bars and specialty breads. No matter what I get every time I go I have to get their train rolls. They're delicious yeast rolls chock full of raisins. They're vegan options are well marked. They use smart balance and canola oil. If you need to worry about your saturated fats like I do they will let you know which ones are which. They also sell some dried organic beans. I often pick up a bag of black beans when I go in.

Delicious with quality ingredients and nice people - Edit
I think I purchased and tried nearly one of every vegan option, and the huge majority of their items are vegan. Every single one of them was fantastic! I especially loved the lebkuchen. My grandmother used to make that and it's one of the very few things I've missed since being vegan. The Breadhaus lebkuchen is wonderful! I'm looking forward to a return trip as soon as possible!

Read moreThis place has so many delicious vegan sweets and bread varieties to choose from! They are not labeled, but the staff would let you know. I’d say about half or more are vegan. The chocolate cake and the oatmeal raisin cookies are the best. The garlic bread was excellent as well. The full size cakes are all vegan except for the rum pound cake. They also have jars of delicious vegan pesto sauce and roasted garlic cloves. The prices are really affordable, too. They’ve been in business for a long time. I wish I knew sooner. Great bakery. Highly recommend!

Great Bread! - Edit
They had fantastic bread! Since becoming veg, I've missed sourdough like this the most. The owners were really nice and knew a lot about vegetarian and vegan things, and are vegan themselves. All of the bread is vegan, and a lot of the sweets, like their strussel, cakes, etc. are vegan as well. My sister and I got rye and sourdough, and both were amazing. We're definitely going to go back!
