In 2013, the adjoining co-op took over the space of the previous business Wild Greens cafe and established a vegetarian cafe. Serves sandwiches, salads, soup, and quiche as well as packaged deli food. Store section sells healthy groceries. Reported closed, Sep 2017.

Delicious! - Edit

I am impressed with the number of menu items that are vegan. Everything that I have tried has been delicious. Once of my favorite places to eat in Tallahassee.

Pros: food tastes great, enjoyable casual atmosphere, friendly staff

Cons: hours (not open very late)

Great Little Coop - Edit

Bread and Roses is a great store. Members get special pricing. They offer quite a bit of local items and serve as the pick up location for produce from local farmers.

Pros: Local, Member Owned And Run

vegetarian local food coop w the best vegan snacks - Edit

Bread & Roses is Tallahassee's member-worker run and owned natural foods grocery. All vegetarian with the exception of some organic pet food.

Bulk snacks, locally made vegan ice cream, and some local produce. lots of specialty vegan products like Daiya & Teese cheese, Dandies marshmallows, etc. No deli/made to order food, but a great stop if you're on the road. If you live in Tallahassee you can become a member-worker and get cheaper prices om everything.

Pros: vegan/vegetarian, non-profit/local/environmental, YUMMM/affordable

Cons: not enough people know about it
