The chocolates here are so good that you will become addicted. The bread is the best in all of India and they have vegan cakes and wonderful salads!
Pros: Chocolate, Its homemade and you can taste it!

This place rocks! they're vegan handmade chocolates are to die for and the salad is really good with REAL sourdough Italian bread.
BUT! the vegan chocolate ice-cream... I mean... its unreal and out of this world! I asked how it was made and I've been told that it holds three ingredients: coconut milk, sugar, and dark chocolate. I don't understand how it can be possible? it's the best vegan ice-cream I've ever had.
If I ever come to south India again I will travel just for the ice-cream

we loved the homemade vegan chocolates (caramel and choco-hazelnuts butter, yum). they also have smoothies, vegan bowls and sandwichs that look very good and that we want to try.

We had the most delicious, fresh and creative food here than anywhere we have travelled in India so far.
No, not just India...but anywhere in the world.
Jane & Fabien are lovely hosts. The attention to detail, ethics and quality are first rate.
We went back each day of our stay in Auroville.
The breakfast smoothie bowls were addictive.
The lunch salad bowls tasty, fresh and delicious.
Coffee and cakes sublime.
Not to mention their hand-made chocolates.
Bread & Chocolate is like an oasis in the desert!
