I can definitely recommend this place! The owner was very happy to recommend a dish to us, so we chose the creation of the day: a bao burger with tempeh, an egg patty and vegan cheese with a delicious root vegetable soup on the side. The food was amazing and we enjoyed every bite 😋

Great place to go after a day in the surf! They have a really cool menu (plant based burgers, breakfast croissants, cauliflower wings, etc) and a wide selection of drinks. Food was well priced and the staff were friendly and attentive.

We were really excited to find a fully vegan restaurant in Tofino. Everything was very enjoyable but not completely 'wow'. We might have liked it a little bit spicier, just a personal preference. The restaurant was very busy, so obviously very popular.

Great find in a tiny town - Edit
Tofino (and nearby Ucluelet) are both very small towns at the end of civilization, so I wasn't too hopeful that there'd be any good vegan food, let alone a whole vegan restaurant. But I guess there is enough tourism that they're able to cater to vegans more than a similarly sized town elsewhere.

We wandered into Bravocados, five years after our first visit, and were delighted with everything. The owners welcomed us and pointed out the day’s specials, though we opted for breakfast. My husband loved the breakfast burritos, and I went for one of several ‘bennies’—Benedict-style crispy English muffin, egg-style tofu, and Florentine additions wilted spinach, mushroom, and tasty sauce. Just a great meal! Were it not on the far west coast of Vancouver Island, we’d be regulars!

This place is PHENOMENAL! Dined here Feb 12 2022 (it was listed as temporarily closed on this app but it’s open!)! Everything we tried was INCREDIBLE, fully vegan restaurant serving mostly brunch food but also has lunch/homemade soup (soup was incredible), excellent coffees and teas, and the best vegan croissant I have ever tasted! Their home card ‘cream cheese’ was so good we asked if they sold tubs of it.

Great selections of foods, but the fried items sure are heavy. But many other lighter dishes available. The cauliflower wings, and mushroom calamari were great. The oyster mushroom burger, in theory seemed good, but too heavy and mostly batter, and the underwhelming.

Had brunch and deep fried Oreos for dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. Too bad they close early on Sunday and remain closed Monday and Tuesday because we would have had many more meals here as the town has very limited vegan offerings.

Our family chose the Florencia Benny, Udon Bowl, OMFG Burger and the BBQ Rocky Burger. As expected, we enjoyed everything, including the friendly service from all staff. Dessert was the lava cake with a blueberry muffin to go. Highly recommend for quality 100% vegan food.

We loved this place so much we went back the day after. Excellent service, fast turnaround, large menu with great choices and flavors, and… all vegan.
On day 1 our group tried the Avo 3-way Benny, White Benny, Truffle mushroom hash and Poutine - all very good.
Day 2 was a Cowgirl Burger (subbed out impossible for the bean patty), Mr Bean Burrito, Po Town Philly and Mushroom Calamari as a starter. Again, everything was great but the Calamari was next level.

Sooo delicious! There were so many options it was difficult to choose - something that doesn’t happen often of course. We got 2 different Benny’s and both were incredible. The “chicken” one had an amazing hot sauce that you could buy, highly recommend it! We finished with the deep fried Oreos.. they don’t have the right to be so good!
