Bizarre tasting cheesecake

Me and GC passed this place a few times during our time in Brighton until I decided to just grab a slice of cheesecake on the way back.

I think they had a vegan sausage roll or savoury pastry as well but it wasn't in stock when we went in.

The price was quite good but that's the only good thing I can say about it, it had the insinuation of a biscuit base and the cheese part of it was very strange in taste and texture.

It was like someone had heard of cheesecake but never had it, and tried to make it based on descriptions.

I wouldn't eat here again and I'm not sure if I'm glad I tried it tbh.

Strange Cheesecake

We shared a slice of the vegan lemon cheesecake. It was the strangest cheesecake I have ever had.

It didn't have much taste, and the texture was bizarre. It was not like creamed cheese, it was more like butter or something. It wasn't awful, but it definitely wasn't what I was expecting and I wouldn't eat it again.

They also had signs for savoury vegan pastries but they had sold out, so I'm assuming those are better than the cheesecake which didn't seem to be selling at all.

Pros: Sweet and savoury vegan options, Okay prices, Clear labelling

Cons: Cheesecake wasn't cheesecake
