Good food and atmosphere if limited choice - Edit
The primary reason to go to a restaurant is to have a meal, no matter the time or (possibly lack of) occasion. While I will be harsher, it may be the only thing it fails at.
Read moreFirst off, it has the most welcoming atmosphere for a restaurant in the area, maybe similar to Ekoplaza with any other restaurant feeling a bit more cold and professional in comparison. The staff does a really good job for sure.
Now for the food options, there just isn't a lot. The lentil soup was missing from the menu last time and you're pretty much leftover with their hummus bread. Credit where it's due though, there are a lot more vegetarian options, I just happen to be vegan.
For what they have, the food is actually really good, however. Even knowing they may only have 1 or 2 vegan choices, their bread itself is really good and so is everything they serve. Just expect to pay for your meal a price higher than a standard lunchroom and more on par with the spa's restaurant across the railway, of course with portions and just the quality and tastiness of the food to compensate.
I'd never go here for dinner due to total lack of vegan options, so I can only treat this place as a lunchroom. What I do wanna add is that their drink choice is a bit limited if you just wanted a drink, and it may come with non-vegan extra's like whipped cream and a brownie.
Overall, the main reason to go to a restaurant over another activity is a bit lacking. The rest, however, does still make up for it. I wouldn't go back if there were actual banger places to have a meal or a drink, but in the area they make up for their shortcomings by atmosphere alone.
If you are vegetarian, you can ignore this review and see this as a 4-star restaurant. The food is good albeit still a bit pricey, and there isn't another vegetarian restaurant in the area with 2 soups and a page of vegetarian lunch options.
Pros: an amazing atmosphere, excellent food quality
Cons: lack of choices for vegans, ask to not include nonvegan things with your drink
