Paris's new vegan gem! - Edit
Where should I start? This place was just great from start to finish.
Read moreBeing a "brasserie" I expected normal food, nothing fancy, and this is some of the best vegan food I've had in a while. I got the mixed plate which had a bowl of nice thick soup (that reminded me of my mother's actually), a very tasty and clearly non-industrial samosa, and a risotto which was the best risotto I've had in years (including when I was an omni). Also included was a small dessert of French toast (pain perdu) which was moist, sweet but not horribly sugary and with a nice consistency (not doughy or dry). All this was 22€ which I think is a good deal and the portions weren't too small, although I would have liked to know that I didn't have a choice of dessert before ordering.
I also had a purple cosmopolitan which had a nice flavour.
My friend who is allergic to gluten had a salad and a Pad Thaï along with a chocolate cake with whipped cream, which were equally lovely; although I would say 9€ is a bit steep for a spinach salad but those are probably normal prices in Paris.
I really loved the diversity on the menu which has soups, lasagna, burger, a bagel, the risotto, Pad Thaï (some things are on rotation). The starters and desserts are equally diverse and they have homemade ice cream. Everything is clearly made on the spot by an attentive chef. I really have to give an A+ to the food.
The setting is also lovely, with a pretty big seating area, candles on the table, floor-to-ceiling windows all around, and excellent music which is at just the right volume. They've done a great job of blending the casual friendly atmosphere of a Brasserie with the coziness and character of a more upscale restaurant. It's a good place for any occasion, date, dinner with friends, or business lunch. My only dislike was that it smelled like cigarette when we got there due to the smoking customers outside and the doors being open; but the smell dissipated quickly.
The staff were really lovely and patient with us. They are located in a nice area with a metro just a few metres away. Being open until midnight is also fantastic as there are very limited options for hungry vegans in Paris past 10:30pm.
All in all, this might become one of my new favourite vegan haunts and we left contemplating what we'll order next time we come, which will be soon!
Pros: Fantastic and diverse food, Great atmosphere, Open late!
Cons: Only 1 dessert option with mixed plate

NO LONGER VEGAN - Edit
the brasserie lola is no longer vegan, even though there are still a few vegan options.
Read morei had a vegan burger (essentially bread with ketchup and a tasteless patty), which tastes OK if you're really hungry ... but not worth a detour.
Pros: friendly staff, vegan options (in paris still quite rare)
Cons: only few vegan/vegetarian options, the price is too high for the quality of the food

NOT VEGAN ANYMORE - Edit
I went to this restaurant this week and found out that they ‘changed directions’ and are not fully vegan anymore. On top of that, they only had TWO vegan options! I was incredibly disappointed. HappyCow needs to update this listing immediately. Despite it all, I got the vegan burger and it was pretty good. Definitely will not be going here again.

It’s a buffet that you pay for by weight. The food is all delicious & the staff is super friendly,

Annie, are you sure you're talking about Brasserie Lola? You talk about a "buffet that you pay for by weight" - but when I was there it was a classic French brassierie with table service, and I think the other reviews seem to confirm this!

delightful but some basic mistakes - Edit
Our meal here was a mix of delight and disappointment. There were some simple and regrettable mistakes; our entree was oily and cold in the middle, the croque was not toasted and also cold, the cheesecake was bland and uninspired. However, everything else was delicious. We hope that our visit caught them on an off night and will certainly return again to give them another chance.

nice and affordable vegan food - Edit
We had the affordable lunch menus, didn't get too full but it was very nice and tasty. I found the rice with vegetables which was on the lunch menu a bit too salty though.

Vegan Bar and food: Heaven - Edit
This place is great and the staff is very nice. We where a pretty big group and we were satisfied. We had samosas, pad thai, and all the dessert. Everything was excellent, its also next to a metro stop so its very easy to get to the location. If you ever go to Paris, please go!

Overpriced low-Q mains, excellent dessert - Edit
To begin with it took three of the staff to even get an order placed, since the first two forgot me - quite ridiculous, then they tried to overcharge me. That aside, the starter and main dishes were strongly overpriced for the embarrassing level of quality - dry, bland, unflavoured with low quality ingredients. The dessert, however, was excellent.

Good food, wide variety - Edit
I got the vegan croque monsieur and my husband got the pad Thai. Both were very good but the Pad Thai was amazing. We got the cheesecake for dessert which was ok. Staff was nice enough and was kind enough to speak English to us but seemed put off that we were tourists. Location is right next to a metro stop and about a mile from the Eiffel Tower.

Nice atmosphere - Edit
We visited Brasserie Lola in Paris and were a little disappointed. The food we received was greasy vegan junk food, which is ok if that's what you're looking for.
Read moreThe presentation of the food was not great and the chips were cold and greasy. I had the Croque Monsieur which I could not finish, it tasted odd.
Maybe we just ordered two dishes from the menu which weren't great, some others had food delivered which looked better.
This place did have friendly staff, nice interior and great atmosphere though.
Cons: Cigarette smoke coming through doors from outside

Awesome! - Edit
We’re here now and it’s great! It looks like a conventional restaurant when you actually arrive but the waiters confirmed it’s all vegan. We both ordered the burger (seitan) that came with fries and a salad. I also ordered a virgin pina colada because it’s happy hour and it tasted like the ones I was used to getting at non-vegan restaurants. We’re ordering dessert - rice pudding and choco cake with ice cream and whipped cream. Stop by here if you’re in Paris!!!! And book your hotel nearby if possible!

All vegan but food isn't great - Edit
All is vegan with is great but the menu is pretty basic (a soup, samosas, burger, bologna pasta etc...).
Read moreThe food isn't great, the samosas fr example were quite greasy and they didn't taste very fresh like they had been fried more than once and was from the previous day (s???).
The fries were good though. The portions are not big and after having an appetizer and main course I had a soup elsewhere. I don't try it personally but apparently the cesar salad is good and the hot chocolate is as well.
Probably better as a café for drinks and pastries than for lunch or diner.
Pros: All vegan, Atmosphere
Cons: Food isn't necessarily fresh, Small portions
