Went there twice on our trip!

First time we went to Brass Tacks, my husband and I loved the sandwiches so much that on the way back to California from Washington we went again! They have fresh, home baked chocolate chip vegan cookies! So yummy- I can’t wait to go back again!

Pros: Many Vegan options, Chocolate chip vegan cookie!

great vegan options

Awesome little place with outdoor seating! Bonus points to this place for house making seitan to put on one of a few solid vegan sandwiches. Why wouldn't one choose the one house made vegan meat over Prepacked animal protein imported?
Do the local thing, get the vegan sandwiches! It's so good! It looks like they will slice it and sell it by the lb too. We got the meat ball sub and velveeta underground but subbed hummus for the standard mayo. The sandies came wrapped with chips and a pickle!
I seen they had a vegan side salad of jicama and apple too.
Happy they serve my favorite Virgil's soda and also local kombucha.
They also have a punch card!
It would be cool to see them support local vegan cheesemakers in their deli case. Try Vtopian Artisan Cheeses and amp it up a bit.

Pros: 1/2 menu is vegan, house made seitan , vegan soda

Cons: meat establishment, no nutrient dense salad
