Not as good as it used to be - Edit
Children and dog friendly. This is a large, bright pub with lots of room. Board games available. Quiz at 8.30pm on a Wednesday. Quite a few vegan options including hot dogs and nachos. The burgers are really good! Reasonable prices for large potions. Oat milk is available for coffee.
Read moreUpdate Jan 2025: Menu massively reduced with few vegan options - one burger, nachos, soup, side salad, or Korean cauliflower. Large burger menu and hot dogs and larger salads are gone. Perhaps under new management? Seemer to be different, less knowledgeable staff. Tea and coffee came in tiny water glasses. All very odd and disappointing. Still a great venue that's cosy with lots of room, and something to eat if you end up there, but certainly won't be going out my way anymore. Decrease for 4 stars to 3.

Lovely bar - Edit
Really nice bar with good enough vegan options. Serves Moving Mountain hotdogs which is a big tick from me. Some of the burgers can be made vegan, as can the loaded fries and there’s a vegan pudding.
