It looks like it changed. They had some beautiful looking croissants and morning buns, and I asked if any of the pastries were vegan and they said no. I got some plain bagels that were very good but really wish I could have tried some vegan pastries as mentioned in the other comments.

Grateful to families like this who run a business with great morals. I love that their grains are local, naturally leavened breads and support organic! The bagels are delicious. Chewy and fluffy bagels loaded with vegan cream cheese 😍. They have impressive vegan morning buns as well. You can even enjoy a vegan lox bagel with all the works. A full vegan breakfast is available here with vegan beverages as well. I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with vegan cream cheese and the works with beet lox on an everything bagel.

Best Bread Ever! - Edit
This place rocks - so much so that if you show up late morning, most of the goodies are gone!! It’s all organic and family owned. Can’t get much better than that. Besides the wonderfully crusty bread, everything else I tasted thus far has been equally awesome!

Brandywine Valley Bread is a terrific family business that sells delicious breads and pastries made from sourdough. Most breads are vegan (and the description lists any nonvegan items). We've probably tried them all and none have disappointed. Occasionally, they also make vegan versions of their morning buns or croissants, both of which are delicious. They recently added bagels (so GOOD) and offer tofutti cream cheese. Definitely stop by if you're in town!
