Really nice vegan cake - Edit
They had three vegan cake options when we were there in the evening shortly before closing time. We tried two and both were really good.

They have clearly labeled vegan options. We had the mixed vegan breakfast. It was fine, but nothing special.
Read moreThe service however was Bad. It took forever for someone to come and Take our Order. We then got the wrong food (non vegan breakfast), only to get the wrong food again (Order the hearty vegan breakfast, but got the mixed) after sending it back. We just ate it then, because it least it was vegan and we Had already been waiting a long time.
Then nobody came around so we could pay, so we went to the counter to pay and had to wait again for quite a while.
Unfortunatly the staff didnt make it up by being extra friendly

Cons: Bad service, Inattentive staff

Wir kamen zum Frühstück vorbei und teilten uns das gemischte vegane Frühstück sowie ein Apfel-Zimt-Porridge.
Read moreDas Porrdige war sehr gut, beim gemischten Frühstück gab es 2 Brötchen, Aufstriche (es gab Hummus, vegane Butter, Marmelade und curryhummus), etwas Gemüse und Obst sowie veganen Käse und Salami.
Es gibt auch immer einige wechselnde vegane Kuchenoptionen

Service not always wonderful, vegan options but with limitations - Edit
I like coming here usually as the atmosphere is cool and I like the style of the Cafè! It can get very busy, so I would recommend reserving a table in advance. The service experience is different every time, but we have had a few rude servers in the past. Also, when it gets busy you spend a LONG time waiting in your food. One time we were there for 2 hours before our food came. They have vegan options for brunch/breakfast and snacks, and usually also cake, but often the vegan cake is sold out. When it is there however, it is very good.

My favourite cafe in Jena. You can have all drinks with vegan milk. I've had the best Chai Latte of my life and delicious vegan cake. It was an Oreo snickers brownie. I recommend Brandmarken.
