Almost 5 Stars. - Edit
This place has recently made the choice to go veg*an. A lovely casual cafe vibe with friendly staff.
Read moreHave been a couple of times and have not left unsatisfied. Pretty much everything on the menu is vegan but you'll need to confirm when you order - the only reason I couldn't give it five stars.
Serves a mix of Asian fusion style dishes including burgers and rice bowls. There are some raw dessert options and the fizzy ice coffee is something you'll crave on a hot summer day.
Would eat again.
Pros: Making the transition to vegan
Cons: Not everything is vegan

Chicken Katsu Don - Edit
Had to come find this place to try the Chicken Katsu Don.. just what i was after, minus the runny egg of course. The seitan Chicken was super tasty and the rice cooked just perfectly to absorb the flavours from the Chicken. The chef special was Laksa which was equally flavourful - mild hotness though. Would ask for some more chilli in the broth next time.

Creative menu, largely vegan - Edit
The Chiang Mai burger and Pad See Ew were great. It’s not all vegan - some chicken eggs and dairy buns to avoid.

Brain Wave - Edit
Visited this , fairly newly opened eatery, located in an arcade of the UTS and frequented by students many upstairs doing their social media chat on their laptops.
Read moreW e were warmly greeted by the owner Henry who showed us through the menu. It does have pictures for each dish. We settled on the fried mixed mushrooms Ennoki, King Brown Oyster mushrooms topped with roasted sesame, shallot and silgochu, served with Maple Yuzu Sauce. $12.50 Pad See Ew (mixed seasonal vegetables),$13.80 and a plate of Japanese Noodle salad soba noodles with green oak, cherry tomatoes, red onions, fried red onions, topped with a sesame dressing, dried nori and fresh soft tofu.$14.50. The lunch was delicious and couldn't fault the food or service. I met the chef Louis who put all this together. I had a great Coconut Smoothie had coconut cream, blended with young coconut juice and roasted cashews topped with salted caramel ground cashews and almond flakes. $7.50
It got the HC decal and left plenty of HC stickers for the customers.
Highly recommend.
Pros: The vegan menu was great, has outdoor seating and room upstairs., Service and decor is nice.

Flavoursome food, great service, thumbs up! - Edit
Heard about this little cafe from friends who recently visited and like it very much. I now know why, the food is super tasty. I had the BBQ vegan burger and my friend had the Vegan Fish with Rice and we shared the mushroom salad. They were all delicious and full of flavours. We also ordered the Mango Tango ( beautifully decorated ) and Cold press juice, both were very refreshing. Highly recommend this place. Not only is the food tasty, but the staffs were also very nice which is a bonus :)

A refreshing set of options - Edit
Loved this place, but so few other people seemed to know about it as I was the only one there for breakfast while neighbouring cafes were full. Let's help spread the word! There were less vegan options than I was expecting, but I couldn't fault the tasty tofu on avo they served me.

Delicious! - Edit
You have to turn into the alley at the Pausa sign to access. They just changed their menu to vegetarian/vegan! I’ve only tried the cold soba noodle bowl, and it was super tasty and healthy, but I’ll definitely be back to try their smoothies.

One of the best in Sydney - Edit
I was fortunate enough to visit a day before the official opening and wow, the food is stunning. There are 6 of us, only one who is a vegetarian, and we are all impressed at the quality, the flavour, and the taste. The pulled pork burger is one of my favourites. The BBQ burger is to die for as well. The sauce combined with the green apple flavour is superb. The chips and their homemade tamarind sauce is another thing I can never get enough of. Will definitely bring my friends to come back for more!

Modern Vegetarian- Asian Fusion - Edit
I had the previledge of sampling some of their new vegetarian menu and I was highly impressed with the taste, presentation and the fine details which has gone into each dish. The burgers were one of the best in Sydney and the sauces tasted authentic and exotic at the same time. The Padthai and fried rice were flavoursome and beautifully presented. Mushroom salad is definitely worth trying- I was informed that all the sauces and dressings are house made. This is by far one of the top 5 vegetarian cafes in sydney and I will be a regular:)
