Fast casual place where they scoop food from the line to make your bowl. There was dairy contamination in the tomatoes and beets and they cooked the mushrooms on the same grill as the meat and flipped it with the same tongs. Since I’ve not eaten meat or dairy most of my life this gave me the real ick factor. To make matters worse, the bowl cost $23. Do not recommend.

Wow…whoever decided to put vegan item on their menu is brilliant. Not only because they close super late and it gives you a midnight snack but because it is actually amazing… they make a vegan garlic sauce and wow…. The vegan pita is TDF.

The faux mushroom meat in the vegan pita is incredibly good. I'm not normally a fan of mushrooms so I didn't think I'd like it, but I really did. Open late so great late night food. Will be returning for sure.

Couldn’t believe it was vegan - Edit
I ordered a vegan pita and, after taking a bite, thought I’d been given a non-vegan dish. I had to search online to find out that Boustan now uses a “meat” made from shiitake mushrooms. I was very impressed. The pita was a bit small, and I doubt it had much protein, but it was probably the most flavourful pita I’ve ever had. Would definitely order again.
