Cute & quirky breakfast - Edit
*not all vegan* but tons of options, sweet and savory. The blueberry cornbread was fantastic, and they do one of the best tofu scrambles I’ve had. Not

My non-vegan friends really enjoyed it - Edit
I went with my non vegan friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. There was a little wait time but it was worth the wait. The staff is friendly and efficient. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the stir fry and it was delicious. My friends had the veggie burger and they were very impressed and didn’t expect it to be so good because it’ was “vegan/vegetarian”. It’s a must eat spot if you’re visiting Austin

Lots of good vegan options! - Edit
Vegetarian/vegan cafe with covered outdoor seating offering a wide variety of vegan options. Solid option for tasty vegan food at a reasonable price. I went there for my birthday with five other people and it was perfect.

This is probably my second review. This time I decided to get a treat for my birthday. I tried the carrot pumpkin cake. Oh my goodness, it was delicious. Happy birthday, me!

Wow oh my god - Edit
This place is so quirky. What can I say? Great prices. Awesome good. So simple yet so complex well prepared and well made but not overcomplicated type dishes where if they are not cooked to perfection for 5 hours you taste every little mistake possible. It is as I said simple yet perfect sometimes the best things are the simplest. Its good face value food for decent prices well made lots of ingenuity. One of my favorites is the tofu sandwich I believe its called wanna BLT. Sides are coleslaw or kettle chips or chips and salsa or.... Well one more cannot remember perfect. They also make their own cookies. Good beer selection. Been coming here since 2014 and always love the soup selection of the day and lots of people I used to know who worked there no longer do so its sad but wow come here and chill out and try anything. Anything. Anything. Tell them I sent you. You might even get a free beer. That one don't tell them it was me who said that. Its a total coincidence.

Dreaming of that BLTA! - Edit
We loved the BLTA, the restaurant vibe, and the service! The entire experience was great. While this is a vegetarian restaurant they have clearly labeled vegan items and vegan options.

Vegan Ruby Ruben - Edit
I ordered the sandwich with gluten free bread and the sandwich is soy free too. It was absolutely incredible. So good. They are only doing carry out and I ate it in the parking lot in under ten minutes. I used to love Ruben sandwiches before going vegan and I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat them anymore. This is better than an actual Ruben and it’s cruelty free. Highly recommend!

Best fajitas - Edit
I get the fajitas every single time because it’s that good. The sauce that the dish comes with is the best part. If they sold that sauce separately in a bottle I’d buy hundreds of it.

A couple of happy vegans - Edit
A charming atmosphere different from other coffee shops we've been to. The food is ALWAYS good. Every item on the menu can be veganized which makes it super easy to order. If you're expecting the same old traditional coffee shop stuff it may not be for you. This is our go-to place every Friday morning.

Love The Selection - Edit
I always love places where I have order envy and am very happy with my choice. I had autumn enchiladas, but others at the table had massaman curry bowl, house made veggie burger, BBQ plate, and the Greek quinoa bowl (everybody was happy with their selection).

So many options!! - Edit
I've visited Bouldin Creek Cafe before on past trips to Austin and it's such a great atmosphere with SO many menu options!! They have options for all times of day. I especially appreciate that they are open later, do it's a great spot to hit if you fly in a bit later in the evening when other options are limited. This trip, I had the Soul Food Platter and it was great. I definitely recommend adding the Forbidden Black Rice to make it more substantial and filling. I also had hot chocolate made with oat milk. My server recommended adding peppermint, which was an excellent suggestion!!

Our favorite Austin restaurant!!! - Edit
Austin is an amazing place. We live an hour away so when we come down for a visit, we always plan on getting food. There are so many choices for vegan/vegetarian restaurants in the city, and yet we have SUCH a hard time choosing anywhere other than Bouldin Creek Cafe. The food is AMAZING! The portions are great, everything is able to be made vegan. My only wish for improvement is that they finally go fully vegan and ditch the dairy. If you’re in Austin, you simply must eat here!!!!!! I’ve eaten the entire menu and you can’t go wrong with anything from Bouldin Creek Cafe!

Cons: Ditch the dairy and go fully vegan please!
