Lots of bread

You’ll need a translator (eg. Google Translate) to see what has egg and or milk

Plain baguette only

Literally 1 option. Very disappointing.

Empleados cuadriculados

Nice and dense bread

We come here each time we're in Nagoya. They consistently have 2 or 3 vegan options. We like the banana nut bread, and the nuts and seeds bread (this one tastes best with vegan butter). Both are European style breads; not the fluffy Japanese kind. Quite expensive though, at around 500 yen per small loaf.

Pros: Dense bread, Always some vegan options, Tasty even without toppings

Cons: Doesn't label as vegan (only lists allergens), Sells nonvegan bread, Expensive

Delicious vegan bread options

There aren’t a ton of vegan options, but there are always at least two available, and they’re always delicious. These breads are more dense and have a nice crust, unlike typical Japanese bread.

Great breads

While there are only a few vegan options, I'm consistently impressed. I really enjoyed the banana nut baguette recently, and we can always count on their plain baguettes.
